I know the video is about us changing our prices, but I notice Amz is also using scratch out pricing as well. On my transaction report it shows I was debited, then credited this fee. Its listed as Promotional Rebate. I wouldnt think there would be a way to know if this as done by Amz or a seller.

ОтветитьHey Dan, for the scratch out price option, how would you do that if your intended target selling price is the top end of the listings in your niche e.g. say target SP = $29.99, I could not sell the product at say $34.99 at launch as otherwise nobody may buy it. How would I manage that?
ОтветитьI tried Method 3 and got an error message "An error occurred when we tried to process your request. We apologize for the inconvenience." I have been out of stock for a few months, the current "your price" was the same as the "list price" and I sold 2 this week. Previously when in stock I had a $2 lower "Sale Price" but I wanted to get a "scratch out" for more visually effect. I added a Method 2 coupon.

ОтветитьThis is an excellent explanation. The only thing that you might add is how it looks on the search page. I sell pet art and I will see what my competition is doing and then offer a better deal on the page so when the buyer is looking at the 48 similar seller listings, mine will show the best deal. I have found coupons to be a really good incentive. But I am now going to test raising my prices and having a sale to see which one does better and stands out from the competition.

ОтветитьHi, Dan! Great content but you might be wrong with the sale price. I never seen a red badge with "limited time deal" or "with deal" price when I apply a "sale price". Usually "limited time deal" is given by Amazon when you submit a "7 day deals" or "lighting deals". The other "with deal" (3.27) is also prime exclusive deals.

In UK, the only way to get the strikethrough is to reduce the price that you've 'actually' been selling at! Im also wondering how long you need to be selling at a certain price until you can reduce it and get the strikethrough.

ОтветитьHi, thnx for the info. I have a product that it's main price is 36 for more then one month (no sales yet). I tried the strikethrough price to 30 using sale price but didn't work also tried to put a list price 45$, my listing is only showing 30 with no strikethrough. So what should I do?

Is it possible ? if yes, how do I do this ? DOnt really have time for now to do that myself ( shipping ect.) and of course I dont want to leave my actual job for now. Thanks ! :)

One question: I just launched a new product and if I use coupon and make enough sales when Standard Price was set equal to List Price, ex. $5 off coupon for $100 list price, will the system recognize $100 or $95 as the price that made the sales?
I was thinking the strategies of using coupons first to accelerate the sales for the product launch without setting "sale price" for a period of time, and later on setting "sale price" (maybe combining coupons) to get the scratch-out price on my page. Do you think it's viable or any suggested strategies?

The price does not show up on the detailed page (see price in the cart). I tried to change the prices (sale price, your price, and list price) and reach to unify them all to the minimum but still the same issue?
I have always been confused about this. I am using the one where I list my price lower than MFG price, then put it on sale.
