I think a hill or mountain is better to defend than an island, because in modern warfare, if you have an island, heavy artillery and warships can annihilated your base

It would actually be more protected if it was located on the highest point on the island. Fortresses are usually built high up. Also it’d be safer if the whole of the walls were made of stone because if they’re made of wood, the pillagers, vindicators and evokers can just burn it down. Also the main gate should be a bit more protected as the pillagers can see into the village and shoot into it.

Why didn't you build a moat? It's one of the most effective defenses you can have! Put a moat around a fortified position!

We have built a very big one house contains all the useful villagers an covered it with very good looking walls. We had looting on sword and infinity on bow so we could use the looting bow! That was very easy to defend the villagers from top of the walls. We can get very good loots while having fun and not building a farm!

Since when villagers have jobs and face expressions? Jobs are cool but facial expressions suck and destroy game's consistency. Mojang literally destroys Minecraft.

I accidentally did the same, I ran into my house and went to sleep. The next day all the villagers were gone, didn't realise they'd all be killed. I had returned to minecraft after 5/6 years and didn't know about the pillagers😢😭I love that world and I've built it up, but getting new villagers is a nightmare, I'm so peed off😡😫

Just a wood fence a good distance from the village is all you need to keep the raid out.
For the paranoid, a three tall wall is more than enough.

I wish that Minecraft had vanilla turrets that weren't strictly fgor under water. If they could make it so that the conduit could target hostile mobs in air blocks, that'd be amazing.

Got a question: When you transported the villagers to the new village in minecarts, how did you get them out of the minecarts without hitting them? (Usually I've just hit the minecart with a sword to turn it into a floating item, but if there's a villager in one, that wouldn't be good.)

I've got a couple of abandoned villages in my server I'd like to repopulate, but I can't figure out how.

Theres 3 pillager mods I think would be just hard enough for this village, Illager Revoloution, Illage and Spillage, Savage and Ravage. I think you should try your village against this mod because I dont think full netherite is enough.

how big can you make a village? a town? a city? dont they start glitching and become seperate towns when make them big enugh? wonder is there any mod that say villagers give better deals if build them atual houses instead of cages? eta.
