My high?school in Scarberia had a lot of bands play. Rush, Max Webster, April Wine, Goddo, dozens more. Including Triumph. A Triumph flash pot started the curtains on fire. Now still more than 40 years later that was the last band to play there. The school smelled like smoke all week. 10/10 would watch that again.

I got to see them live, at the Pittsburgh Civic Arena when I was in high school. These guys are so talented and like everyone else has said, Criminally under rated.

I love The Warning but everyone says “no one can sing and play like Dany or Pau (on drums)” never heard Rick sing and play or Gils on drums do both. Mexico has great trio’s but their decades behind with rock in that respect. BTW, Rick is 22 here so yes, he’s younger than Dany is or was

This Canadian band was severely underrated. Rik Emmett incredible singing and lights out greatness playing guitar. IMO just as good as any of the top bands during the late 70’s & 80’s. Gil More extremely talented on the drums as well as bassist/keyboardist Mike Levine.

Great vid, also "lay it on the line" one of the top air guitar and drums song!!

Wholesome and positive songs like this are almost never sung anymore.

Rock and Roll .

Sometime check out Triumph's "Follow Your Heart", or "Spellbound" to hear the drummer as lead singer.

Let's not forget that it's straight on playing and singing. NO auto tune, NO ear monitors, NO tricks. Just unbelievable talent. Triumph was and still is truly special.

You should definitely check out a song that Gil Moore sings the drummer

It's too bad they had a falling out. I thought Thunder Seven was one of the best rock albums of the 80's.

Huge Triumph fan...saw them first on Rock and Roll Machine tour, AF tour, and Thunder 7. All in Evansville, IN!...rik and the whole band...Virtuoso performance! Another great singer is Robin Zander from Cheap Trick...listen to SLEEP FOREVER/Heaven Tonight live...he is SIXTY YEARS OLD WHEN HE PERFORMED THAT CLIP!!!!!!!

So nice to see someone that appreciates the talent of Triumph and Rik Emmett his vocal ability, I feel, could have been successful regardless of the style of music he chose in life, but this style of music allowed us to witness his remarkable skills on the guitar and then to be able to do both at the same time at the level he performs is truly epic in every way.

I seen them twice in concert in the early 80's and they were two of the best concerts I have ever seen. I'm so glad I got to see them live. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I was there Glen Helen, CA US festival, Van Halen was the lead act with a drunk off his arse Roth, Triumph along with Judas Priest were the true rock stars that day for me in 1983!

Ive seen most of the greatest rock bands ever multible times. Triumph live is one of the abslute best. This lady is correct his voice is extremely rare and mr. Emmitt is one one the best guitarist ive ever seen and yeah ive seen eddy multible times. Il take rik all day every day.
