Two Post vs. Four Post Lift for My MK7 Golf R And Other Project Cars

I am in search of an automotive lift that will work well with my upcoming three car garage. I really like the agility you get with the two post lift, but I am not comfortable with the idea of using the 2 post for stalking two cars on top of one another. So I am currently leaning towards the four post lift and possibly spend the extra money and get all the accessories to be able to lift the front or the back when ever I need to.
