LIBERTY FORD CAPTAIN BILL BAND PAID USA
ОтветитьI would not have guessed Steve Miller was playing an Ibanez Iceman (like Paul Stanley). Neat video!
ОтветитьSteve Miller is a super underrated vocalist. This version of The Joker blends into Reggae kinda. Great stuff
ОтветитьAwesome music Steve Miller. The video portion sucks.
ОтветитьWow! What a career and what a musical life! Amazing! I enjoyed hearing him tell his story and I still like his singing and greatest hits!
One of the greats!
👏🏻🎸😎
Thank you once again Uncle Bobo !
ОтветитьRare to see wild mountain Honey performed live
ОтветитьJoker raggie version is better, I believe it was meant to be this way originally, he was into Marley that time it's similar to everything is gonna be alright
ОтветитьI'm not sure if ppl are aware of Steve Millers love of johnny guitar Watson, and uses his references in his songs, Watson was the gangster of love, and space cowboy in his songs, so it was an homage to johnny and a wink to his creative work. Like Miller that has hits and songs that lasts decades, Watson literally had 3 careers, first in 55 space guitar song was the first to use reverb echo on guitar, he was the king of rocking roll, then blues, then jazz in 60s, then funk master in the 70s, to the 80s doing rap songs like telephone song, his music is the basis and most sampled song in early rap, and Dr Dre chronic album you hear like three songs that are guitar Watson songs just with rap over them. Anyway so I wanted to share this knowledge on how music is all tie together with the great ones
ОтветитьLove to hear the classic Baby’s Callin’ Me Home from Children of the Future!
ОтветитьWhy did some people call him Maurice?
ОтветитьI'm 24, grew up with Steve Miller Band among other great classic rock artists cause of my dad's music, and man does this music just feel good! There's good stuff today, but this is just on another level. Music like this has inspired me to be a singer/songwriter.
ОтветитьMagical also Steve Miller is the 💣
ОтветитьWho is this harmonica player 🤔 he is tough of course 😉
ОтветитьLol 😆 I was fortunate to have Steve Miller band in my Era his music saved my life personally 1966 to now 😄 hahaha the joker.
ОтветитьAll can comment they can't hold your guitar for Mr Steve Miller also your side musicians I heard on the airwaves in the 60s and 70s you are the eagle fly like a eagle
ОтветитьThe best 👌
ОтветитьFly like an eagle is one of the greatest American rock songs in history.
Ответитьthis version of joker, has a reggae vibe.
ОтветитьGreat
ОтветитьThank you
I never heard this before
Thought that I knew
amazing, namaste
I was at this concert, first row. Great memory.
ОтветитьMissing Gerald Johnson on bass here, especially for Shubada Du Ma Ma Ma Ma. Bur as a lover of SMB's first two albums, it's good to hear Baby's Calling Me Home.
Ответитьwtf is russell crowe doing on stage singing in the 70's
Ответить✌️😊❤
ОтветитьJust saw them last weekend in Niagara Falls, absolutely a fantastic experience.
ОтветитьNorton on top form!
ОтветитьSteve Miller is a multitasker young music anda great band instermental ❤🎉😮😅😂😢😮🎉❤
ОтветитьSteve's early work was the BEST. None like him. What a revelation here; The Joker, reggae styling. WOW. Once he got popular, however, oh well.
ОтветитьNo❤t coming
ОтветитьFirst saw Steve Miller at Constitution Hall in D.C. in 1973 and I've seen him 30 times since. Was great for a lot of years, but has not released a new album of new original songs since 1993 and the concerts are getting stale. This is great stuff with Lonnie Turner on the bass.... and the reggae version of The Joker kicks ass!
ОтветитьStevie "Guitar" Miller & Norton Buffolo - a dream...
ОтветитьI would give my Left Testical to own the IC-210 like he plays through this whole concert.. its my all time fav electric guitar and has a 3-coil pickup that has 4 or 5 different settings.... coolest guitars ever made
And the Japanese made Ibanez guitars of that era are in my and many other peoples opinions... some of the FINEST electric guitars ever made... this is the CREME and the KING of those guitars in my opinonn... and the most original body shape ever.. i love them
Sophomore year, one of my better years getting my license, driving my not road worthy 67 Nova coupe listening to Steve Miller band on cassette. Still listening to Steve Miller Band, brings me back in time. Back in 73 we played The Joker on a 8 track run by a car battery in an old building in the woods with a wood stove providing the heat.
ОтветитьDamn near the very best in Rock & Roll history! World class everything here. 🙏🏼🗽🇺🇲💯🎸🌎💫🐴🎖️🥇🏆
ОтветитьThese guys are amazing...how bluesy and edgy....spontaneous...till today...one of the best...ganster of love...the beginning...puh....yours Harry
ОтветитьNapoleon Dynamite on bass.
Ответить❕
ОтветитьI guess you had to be there…
ОтветитьThanks for sharing 👍 😊
ОтветитьHugely popular back in the day...hit after hit, nobody bigger for a while
ОтветитьThis is just great. I love the live version The Window. He’s just got such a great sense of melody on guitar.
ОтветитьLove the early Steve Miller stuff
ОтветитьI saw them about 3 years from this video. live from Boston Garden 1st or 2d row. loved acoustic songs
ОтветитьLove this so much
ОтветитьWhat a performance!
Does anybody know what instrument Steve plays in “Wild mountain honey”?
I hear a harp and sitar-like sound
Mesmerizing…
Happy birthday Libra man.
ОтветитьI never knew that his top songs were so old. They are just Great.
