Food for Thought | Milk Allergy vs. Lactose Intolerance

Got allergy testing panel done. Find out I'm allergic to cow milk cheddar cheese and yogurt but not to curd. Why is that?

Well, I'm both lactose intolerant and am allergic to milk. I use coconut milk and other coconut based products, but I haven't found a great-tasting substitute for cheese. Am allergic to soy also. Can you recommend one?

I was wondering why lactaid and lactose free milk never worked for me. I also throw up when I eat too much milk. I developed a fever and couldn’t even open my eyes on my birthday last year bc I ate so much ice cream. Now I think I’m allergic.

Am I the only one who throws up terribly after consuming dairy?

I had Mayo today after reading the product info( Ddnt see anything that said lactose or Dairy)

30 mins later im throwing up and the aftermath is intense cramps and bloating...

Not sure if its just lactose intolerance, cause I don't see anyone in the comment section sharing my symptoms

syphilis from dog/animals causes milk/dairy allergy.

And keep in mind they can be misdiagnosed. I was diagnosed with a milk allergy, then had a lot of success with lactose intolerance probiotic pills which should not have worked if I was actually allergic to milk.
