Learn to set up a basic deck of 52 playing cards using GML and GameMaker Studio 2. This video will use the ds_list data structure to hold data for all of the cards. Then we virtually override the Draw event in order to show the cards in the deck, without having to generate tons of extra objects to do the same thing.


Bradley Sward is currently an Associate Professor at the College of DuPage in suburban Chicago, Illinois. He has earned a Masters degree in Software Engineering from DePaul University, a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Springfield, and two Bachelors degrees in Computer Science and Molecular Biology from Benedictine University.
