It is amazing that all these supposingly bright and highly educated student cannot find a way out of their own unemployment issue and still have to rely on their government for help. What is the point of higher education and going to prestigious university where student are not taught on how to survive on their own ??? Not that bright after all. 😂

I think there is a lot of bad-mouthing here. If the economy on the whole is really that bad, just look at the massive movement and spending during the big holiday sessions.

Companies do it because it's cheaper for them to have fewer workers. The only solution is a shorter day or work week, lower retirement ages, more vacation, and holiday pay.

I think the problem lies in the fact that they admits superfluous college students and even some disqualified people into the higher education sector. Actually there are many manual labor job opportunities available, which college graduates will not condescend into.

One report regarding China stated 8 million businesses have closed or went bankrupt leading to so many people across China not able to find work. The video misses other problems increased this massive unemployment problems like the energy shortage China faces. The other is mounting municipal debt an people not paying taxes. Also, there is no minimum wage laws in China. Business can be ruthless cutting wages and salaries. Many time people don’t get paid for work.

I am a college teacher and I am astounded by how clueless some young people are about the future. They thought they could land a job easily after graduation just because they have a college degree. I have a neighbor who told me he would not send his children to university for a degree, instead, go to vocational school to acquire useful skills. I have a friend who does not have a college degree but a certificate of competency in piping inspection (or something like that) which earn him a job right after he finished his training.

Now even the Government Department of Statistics can no longer lie about the U18 Unemployment rate. It'll stop publishing the Youth Unemployment figure until "the department can improve their economic model"..... Looking back at the most "regulated & improved" industries (private tutoring, entertainment, gaming, IT, even institutional prostitution !) all those industries had provided a lot of employment to young people. With all those industrial gone, of cause there will not be enough jobs for young people.
