Big shoutout to Jonathan Clark aka JClarkTheJumper for helping me come up with the visual descriptions of being low and fast at takeoff that I showed at the beginning of the video. During all star weekend we taught jump technique to literally hundreds of kids and this video shows exactly how we taught it!
Ответитьthanks for the tuto my nigga
Ответитьstep one: be tall
ОтветитьApart from what is explained in the video, are there any routine exercises to improve the quality of jump?
ОтветитьСпасибо за советы!

ОтветитьI am 6'3 and I can't even touch the ring I hope this helps me
ОтветитьHi bro, how tall are you? Your head almost hit the net ring, I'm shocked, I've gotta try this tomorrow!!! I'm 6.2 by the way
ОтветитьEffortless jump. Crazy

ОтветитьAmazing how far penultimate tutorial vids have come. There are countless out there but this is the easiest to follow to date. I suspect they'll get even better as people continue to dedicate to the craft.
ОтветитьYou look like you about to start breakdancing
ОтветитьI've been jumping for years and this made me jump 3 inches higher.
ОтветитьMy goal in this comment is to say the same thing in a different way using my experience. Volleyball players call this an approach. An approach typically consists of 3 or 4 steps. The last two steps are called the step-close (penultimate-block as Isaiah puts it). If you are taking a 3-step approach, think about the speed of your steps in order as slow, faster, fastest. Anyways, thanks for the video, Isaiah - love your content as always. Hope this comment helps someone!
ОтветитьThank you, this helped me go from barely touching the frame to grabbing the frame
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😅

ОтветитьIt’s steel don’t work
ОтветитьLol im a figure Skater and watching this Tutorial. I will try it now😂
Ответитьvery good video, I just have to say that this technique is from volleyball. If anyone wants something more specific as exercises, they could look for videos on volleyball in vertical jump, jumping exercises are called "pylometry"
ОтветитьThis just confused me more
ОтветитьNice

ОтветитьHave all the guys that do that naturally in the nba know that they are performing the penultimate😂
Do they know the meaning of somnambulism? 🤣
Повторил увиденное, теперь достаю до верха щита)))

ОтветитьThis seems like something a 10 year old would look up before a game
ОтветитьMy vert is 20 inches
ОтветитьBro thanks for the video I can now unlock my full jumping potential
ОтветитьYo am a basketball player and it confuses me when my fellow players tell me its a mass to jump 2 steps so is one step okay too
ОтветитьSometimes when volleyball coaches explain this it is so weird. Like you explained the same thing, just way faster.
ОтветитьAs a girl who’s been playing basketball for 8 years, my one goal in life is to learn how to dunk
ОтветитьThx for the tips
ОтветитьDude skipped leg day
ОтветитьBro just casually hits rim with his head😂
