Make a smart mirror of it means stick it behind a one way glass (i.e one side Transparent glass and other side mirror)

I would rather just buy it ready made. It's a cool project but I have no time. I am looking for something like this to keep in my walk in closet and have the info readily available as I get dressed, however I can't find anyone who makes a device like this I can buy.

Adafruit, I had a lot of trouble to get the code running, the avr library wasn't inside grbl library, the Arduino IDE thinks it is a good idea to put the .ino file inside a new folder, so we have to move everything to that folder after.
And the part to adjusting the time offset isn't that straight forward, some tips would be good.
All in all, Thank you Adafruit team! You made a really good job, hopefully this comment may be useful to someone in the future.

Does anyone know if there is a way to dim the screen? I realize these pieces fit together. I'm waiting for the parts, and interested to see if I can dim by adding photo resistor, even if it means powering backlight discretely or interrupting the power pin w small circuit. If it can be soldered and done w hardware, this would be ideal.

Don't waste your money/time, the weather API no longer works. Neither Wunderground OR Openweathermap work any longer. Both require accounts and are no longer free.

Is the display limited to what is here? I saw a different display on Amazon, 2.8" instead of this 2.4". I'm wondering if it would still work.

Great build, I was able to get everything working in about 10 minutes. However, It's not mentioned in the instructions, but if you're having problems setting the correct time, make sure that you set the UTC_OFFSET in the settings.h file. I believe the default is for New York. I was able to get the case printed with 3DHub for about 4.00 dollars.

I'd like to build this as the receiving end, but I keep telling myself to build a little station to report to Wunderground as well. You should do a video on that! with all the sensors like temp, humidity, wind direction and speed, UV, etc. Maybe even make the code compare what it's getting to what was projected from Wunderground to help improve the data.

Can you guys do a greenhouse control? I'd like to turn water on/off in maybe 8 zones based on time or even batter, soil moisture levels. I'd also like to trigger auxiliary heating if the temp drops below a set threshold and open vents if it get too hot. Last I'd like to keep a log of the temps, with time stamp and have a way either remotely monitor the status, either by Ethernet or wifi.
