So the ekopel bonds to itself without any adhesion polymer between older finish and new application? That's pretty rad. I guess that makes sense though if you don't need primer for this product.

What do you recommend for a vertical surface chip? I saw in the comments that you've discontinued the spray product. Help🙄

Can the touch-up product be used to repair just an area on the original sink porcelain?

What can you tint the white kit with? My tub is off-white and using the 300 gram touch up kit its just to white and I want to tint the non-skid kit to try to match the off white

Fantastic Video!! The bottom of my tub is wearing out a bit. Likely from my use harsh cleaners :(. I was planning on using the entire Tub cast kit. If I only need to lightly repair the bottom of my tub would this kit be better? Thank you!

Can you do a video that repairs a popped bubble near a clawfoot tub drain? I used the Ekopel 2K in 2021 on the tub which was disconnected from the water supply and drain but somehow a bubble formed near the drain 2 years later. I popped the bubble, attempted to remove loose material and sanded it but didn’t have the repair kit to perform the repair. My tenant has been using the tub the last few weeks and now I’m ready to do the repair. I’m sure there’s more loose material I’ll need to remove and more sanding needed. I don’t plan to remove the tub from the water supply or drain this time so it’ll be a trickier repair for me.

2 questions: Do you need to prep the unsanded surface areas, as well, with anything else, like wiping the whole arrea that you will be applying the Ekopel to, with alcohol or acetone before you apply it. Like in this case, where you covered the entire bottom of the tub, even though you only repaired a small chipped area, should you wipe down the areas where it wasn't repaired, but just recoated? And how high should the temp be in the room when you do this and for how long at that temp?

Thank you.

Great video, I refinished our bathtub on Sunday and it turned out fantastic, until my wife leant on it 5hrs after being done, I was thinking about purchasing the small touch up Epoxy but then I saw you using a spray and I think that may be better. I am going to attempt to gently sand down and buff it out, but it looks too deep so my only course of action is to fill, sand and re-do with the foam brush, your thoughts please
Also what was the product name for the spray, as I can't find it on the website.

I coated the tub using the pour on. I waited 24 hours before using it. The surface felt hard and completely dry. Five days later and several cracks have appeared - inside of them is paint that’s still tacky. I followed the directions to a tee - sanded every inch, cleaned every inch, had the room the correct temp, etc. I’m not sure how to solve this problem. Can you advise? It’s mid summer and I can’t avoid showering for too many days in a row. Thanks.

Great video! I have a few paint chips on the top corner of my tub. I’m trying to find the spray can but I’m not seeing it in your shop/website. Are you guys not selling those anymore? I ended up just purchasing a touch up kit
