M3 MacBook Pro: 10 games tested with 8GB RAM

So you spend 1600$ you cant get a good gaming experience you cant edit without crashes and slow downs you cant open more than 7 pages in browser you just bouught a uselss machine for 1600$ yes its apple.

Definitely if you are going to buy a Mac, you MUST buy it with 16gb of ram. The good thing is that they upgraded the base disk to 512, so you only need to upgrade one.

Still would love to see a gaming comparison between:

• M3 Pro 18c / 36 GB
• M3 Max 30c / 36 GB
• M3 Max 40c / 64 GB

Show us mw3 on 8gb of ram.

It would have been really helpful to see important stats displayed on screen, such as lowest, average, highest FPS, macbook temps, and maybe a graph at the end of each game (or the entire video) comparing stats against each macbook.

Request: Minecraft, Minecraft with Shaders, Minecraft with 8Gig, and so on.

There is no problems with 8Gb, problem with an exceeding wear of SSD.

Is it possible to run these titles natively on a comparable spec'd and priced Windows laptop ? The comparison will be helpful in both Apple hardware and title purchases for the casual gamer.....all unplugged, of course.

RIP SSD chips! every time you use lots of swap, your SSD slowly dies. Get as much RAM as you can afford - and while you're at it, bigger SSD = longer life. I'd be curious to see framerate comparisons of 8GB vs. 24GB. I've got an M3 Max 36GB on order - longevity is key.

Is there a tutorial out there that shows how to get a dual sense working properly with crossover and steam? I’ve already allowed for input monitoring and steam on crossover sees the controller and tells me it’ll apply it’s input translating, but no game sees the controller.

I...Play.. No man SKY...on battery and watch the battery go to 0 under 2 hours. 😂

The 8GB are quite a bummer, really slowing down the machine by up to 5x depending on the task like opening more than 5 tabs in Chrome.
