I cured my nail fungus. That black or very dark discoloration is rot under the nail. The nailbed is rotted away and contains rotting flesh trapped in a pocket beneath the nailbed and the nail needs to be cut away and opened up so the medicine can get to the nailbed. I had to take a wire cutter and dive straight down into the nailbed from the center of the nail. I took a gamble but I knew I needed to open up the nail bed to get at the infection in there. It actually worked I cut away the nail from the center out and left a huge gaping hole in the middle of the nail and it didn't hurt at all it was actually a huge relief to get that gunk out of there. The smell was like death. I took a tooth brush and soapy water every day a few times a day and scrubbed out the hole. After the first time I could see bare skin in there it was healthy nail bed. I did this to both big toes. I had it the worst on the two big toes and my 4th and 5th on both feet were just yellow and thickened. It took about 7-8 months for the new nail to grow in. I used Vicks Vaporub every day. I would put a huge dab of that on the toe and wrap tissue around it and tape it there for the whole day then change it for overnight. I used terbinafine (Lamisil) tablets I got by prescription and I had to quit sugar and wheat. After a few months of these treatments my nails came back. I ended up not needing Terbinafine anymore and it's been about 10 years and I'm still fungus free. I know this is a long post but it's worth it. I have never met another person who has cured this disease. It lives in your gut and you get the nail fungus from injury to the nailbed. Once the fungus takes hold under the nail it's basically impossible to get rid of as doctors will gladly tell you this is because it's in your gut and you're feeding it with sugar. My story is a very unique one. I urge anyone with this terrible disease to seek the treatments I describe in this comment. Most of all you have to eliminate sugar and yeast from your diet these are the reason you have candida in your gut and that's what you have in your toes. I'm not a doctor and this isn't medical advice it's a personal recommendation and a testimonial. You have to cure this by changing the way you live and attacking it with the correct medicines. Also the last thing I will say is you have to ritually wash your feet every day. I learned to stand on one foot in the shower every day to thoroughly wash each foot. To me that's the key step that keeps it away and it's you caring for yourself. Your body knows. Don't neglect your feet or your body will punish you for it. Don't eat garbage or your body will punish you for it. I did it you can do it too.

So I hurt my nail and then the next day there was a black like threw it that kept growing and then it started to smell and it was discolored so I thought it was toenail fungus and then today half my toenail fell off but I didn’t have any of that stuff under it so idk what to do or what it is or what the problem is
