No longer works. It still worked late last year. Took em till 2023, but they finally patched it out. 😢

I think I broke the glitch. I was doing this with the plasma pistol and metal helmet with Moira Brown. It worked the first time but when I came back to fix my items, the plasma pistol wouldn’t repair at all and the metal helmet would repair halfway. What should I do?

its much easier to just do the infinite scrap metal glitch, you make way more money that way. then you can duplicate scrap metal and do the glitch again to multiply your earnings. this method is slow

I'm kind of confused when I buy stuff from the trader, they sell it to me with bad CND and takes it back for a cheaper price than it was originally.

It's a glitch to fast and easy earn money, but not unlimited because it takes longer to get some amount.

What about if they run out of caps
It's obvious you are using mods/console commands

On Fallout 3, I mainly use 2 10mm Pistols and 2 Plasma Rifles and on rare Occasions I have to rely on using 2 Green Combat Armor since they are the most Expensive when it comes selling+receiving more Caps at once. I always have to get my Barter Skill all the way to 100 and Repair at 100 as well whenever I am starting a new Character in order to effectively take the most advantage of the Caps Glitch.

Same goes for New Vegas where I use 2 10mm Pistols & 2 12.7mm Submachine Guns as well. Thankfully there’s a Casino Caps glitch so I don’t have to really always use the Caps Glitch on that one. It does help having Millions/Billions of NCR Dollars, Legion Coins, and Bottlecaps as well.
