Great video! Kinda what I figured. Webflow could be great for certain situations like a flashy portfolio website.

i am trying to build an E-commerce website for jewelry. Just started the Shopify trial, but I am disappointed because not much tools there. I know just HTML and CSS so I think with Webflow I can do much more, and less expensive.I don't know much JS, so I hope Webflow will help me with it.
Thanks.

I experienced both , and when I start my agency I will use both. Select the appropriate one to match the client's needs. Things don't have to be an either/or. Embrace the best tools to get the job done, especially if you are an agency.

This is the biggest point. Clients see websites as something you just do, install and it works. Paying to me for establishing a website and then a monthly fee? Ohhh nooo.. BTW Wordpress sucks, there are better CMSes...

How good is the quality of the Webflow code export? Are the HTML, CSS, JS files well structure and can be transferred by a developer in to production easily? Any developers, that have experience with these files?

Thanks for the video and info associated with it.
I would say that as a 'specialised' hosting platform for WordPress, it would make sense to have the narrative point towards WordPress. There's no right or wrong, just calling it how it is (not affiliated to any platform btw).
Either way - thanks again for the value.

Thanks for the insight. As a newbie freelancer, I find web flow quite limiting.

This is a biased review. I can not believe anyone who has maintained more than 1 Wordpress website can say that WP is more secure than a Webflow site. A WordPress site requires maintennance to remain secure. There are so many angles of attack to a WP site. If you run a log on a WP hosting server, you will see tens if not hundreds of constant attempts per hour to access/spoof known weaknesses in WP and popular plugins. WP is secure if and only if the server is 100% correctly set up, WordPress is constantly updated and 3rd party plugins are from trusted sources and updated. Webflow on the other hand - unless the actual webflow PAAS is compromised, how would you even attack a webflow site?

Wordpress is SEO friendly? When did that happen? Maybe if you think SEO is done with alt and meta tags and basically not violating (too) many W3C standards. Also Yoast... does a bs job concerning SEO. It's like trying to become a successful race driver, who's trained by a driving instructor, that only teaches the basic things to NOT fail the test. The performance of Wordpress is just... pure pain.
And nobody who I've met so far, claiming that it's just an optimization issue was able to get close to those numbers of pages done basically in plain html (or anything close to it). And there's the problem, also with all those PageSpeed comparisons: It's no big deal to get 100/100 Score on a desktop page with a TBit connection. And no user ever will complain, no matter how badly done the job, about performance issues.
But most people, even B2B, are accessing it via mobile. And in large parts of the world the mobile network is just shit. No way of describing that better. I know there are SO MANY ways to improve that, but not for mom and pop users, who just want to work with that they got sold when buying their mobile 5 years ago. To cut it: mobile speed is often so slow, that anything above 400 - 600kb isn't done loading in 2 - 3s.
