Take whole semester just to teach this kids about dierctory hierarchy.
God have a mercy.
Back in OS/2 I didn't need the command line, but ever since I switched to Linux I use it daily. While the Linux command line is very convenient, I still miss having a GUI that's powerful enough to replace it.
Well, CLI forever, I guess? The GUI's nowadays aren't getting anywhere.
Hello and thank you in QWERTZ! 🖖
ОтветитьNow this was a wonderful video.
ОтветитьHugely underrated series. Thanks a million!
Ответитьhow do i install zork?
ОтветитьMe and the boys teletyping at 3 am, waking each other up every 2 minutes with the sound of the steampunk groupchat notification.
ОтветитьSo cool
ОтветитьQwerty is a really terrible keyboard layout. The Dvorak keyboard leaves qwerty in the dust. When I switched to Dvorak I ended up typing 50% faster than I did on qwerty.
ОтветитьI find the aesthetic style of this video and the compressed but rich information pleasing, kudos!
Ответитьwhat are the main points of this video, I have to watch it for my class
ОтветитьIT IS TOO FAST AND USELESS!!
ОтветитьI wonder why she has to speak so quickly. Man, it gives me headache, very difficult to keep up with her! The course content is amazing though
ОтветитьI am thoroughly enjoying my 4k OLED endless paper screen thank you very much
ОтветитьPunch cards are receipts

Ответитьit's amazing, I can understand what she says, I study it to enhance my English, and it is effective.占个坑,这里的第一个中国人。
Ответить"steampunk chat-room" XD
ОтветитьThanks again!
ОтветитьWow, every vintage shot must have a black or a woman.
ОтветитьI am in love with you Carrie Anne..
ОтветитьI like using Command Line Interface!!😁
Ответитьcould have done without the pseudo science plug. Some day some of us may discover our programs fail when calculating the curvature of the earth... and then go on to learn real science.
ОтветитьBut how do screens work with a computer?
ОтветитьI love how you didn't tell anyone how to open a terminal in Linux (common distros). Cuz if you're running linux, you know how to use a terminal.
ОтветитьNeed help on an EE problem? Pin Point: 'Circuit Solver' by Phasor Systems on Google Play.
ОтветитьWhat about Mavis Beacon
Ответить90% of the comments are mindless blabber... Smh
Ответитьzork is still on line to play
ОтветитьMoooo!
ОтветитьNow I know why it is called QWERTY.
Ответитьdid I see sinbad? Man that is old school...lol...and I dig the Tapping reference.
Ответитьslow down!!
ОтветитьYou are entirely accurate to say that it is not the full story. Notice how the exceptions to putting common pairings apart all end up with the top row. Why? It allows to type the name of the device using only the top row.
ОтветитьI want to finger my friends
what it's not weird it's computer stuff
The Easter Eggs.
Oh, the Easter Eggs!
/* kill dragon
ОтветитьStrong Bad has been eaten by a GRUE.
Take it away, The Paper! PREEEOOOOOOWWWW!
Yes, but where does Mavis Beacon fit into all this talk of keyboards and touch typing?
ОтветитьA terminal recommendation for Linux users, check out Terminology. It's just both functional, and great looking. I just got turned onto it recently and I never thought I'd actually enjoy using the terminal so much. I've got mine in a theme that makes it look like an old school faded display
Ответитьplaying ZORK on an electromechanical interface would be awesome
ОтветитьI'd be 1,000 times more excited for ST discovery if your cast list were real :(
ОтветитьSince when does simply writing the name of something execute it? Usually you must use ./name, otherwise it assumes the thing is in the root directory.
