No question, a lovely machine. And who doesn't love Aston Martins anyway. But the one problem I have with modern roadsters is that they always make it visibly more obvious that the cabin occupants are sitting down in a hole. The door sills come up to the driver and front passenger's chins, and it's just a weird look to me. Once upon a time one could drive a roadster (or a coupe for that matter) and lay your arm on the door sill. That is now impossible as they are way too high. And yes, I imagine it is design-by-safety-regulation, but still.....

This car is completely different (and better) than a DB of 5 years ago. All the panels are aligned. Aston has been working hard and it shows.

Still makes me wonder. There was a post on X challenging the cost of fixing essential areas of social responsibility, healthcare, education etc.
For as long as a CIA can spend millions on remodelling a Maserati Gran Tourism to make it look like an Aston Martin for the single purpose of bluffing Jay Leno...kinda weird.
With both guys standing next to the car (not Jay Leno) I cried out laughing. Ridiculous doesn't even come close.

I never realised it, but because of all the mandatory tech like lane assist in modern cars, we are stuck with cars with electric steering assist instead of much more preferable hydraulic steering because of the way it has to function.
Hence my mx5 NC and '86 Land Cruiser still have hydraulic power assist where the mx5 ND hasn't, and is criticized for having a lack of steering feel.
So progress is not always a good thing..

When you see "DB12" you would think it would have 12 cylinders. There are a lot of vehicles out there but the Aston Martin DB12 is the definition of sexy!!

Very elegant. Really like the brogueing on the seats as a nod to British shoemaking – and of course the Scottish Ghillie shoes. The holes in the pattern were originally there to drain the water from the shoes of the farmers. The folding action of the convertible top was very elegantly done
