The Problem With GTA 5 Next-Gen

Since you are using director mode, most of your video here is useless, because director mode turns up settings & it is not the same as real gameplay.

GTA v is & always has been too fucking video gamey & like a reality tv show instead of a movie. The old games - III through SA & IV - were cinematic, filmic, GTA V is like a TV show clean & gamey, instead of gritty and cinematic. Always has been. Especially when running at 60fps.

It does have raytraced reflections what are you even saying right now? Turn on fidelity. You can even see the player in them. You are wrong, period.

Agreed , i believe if you owned gta 5 on ps4 or xbox equivalent, you should have the game for free on next gen with NO Limitations , as much as it annoys me thst consoles get the games years earlier this is something beyond scummy from rockstar , straight up greed.

You have completely missed the point: there have been zero meaningful updates to single player. Thankfully the PC modding community cares more than Rockstar and have fixed the traffic variety, adding multiplayer stuff which should be in single player, fixing the horrific massacre that Rockstar did to the police liveries, have made it so police use all their vehicles, add FIB and army, added building interiors that were cut or story mode only. the list goes on

The other companies have to give free updates cause nobody would buy the shit. Its only cause Rockstar are best in the biz and know they can charge and idiots will buy. They're a business after all and in business you make money by screwing others lmao. Simple stuff xd

I hated this release. They expect you to throw away all ability to play with xbox one players and pay 40 dollars for some tiny improvements.

Bro you missed the entire point of all these releases. You. bought. them. That's all that matters. While I'm not letting Rockstar off the hook as they have become a piece of shit greedy company, the players and people who continue to give them money are the real cause for their downward spiral. GTAV is a great wonderful game (single player only) but the people behind it, or rather the people in charge, are just greedy fucking assholes.

I think your videos are well-made but its pretty clear you have a bias towards Rockstar. You cherry pick information like saying the PC version of GTA was free on epic games but didn't mention how it was also free on PS5 and how GTA Online has been $5 on console. Also the PC version of GTA isn't a resell of an old game. Its a port because thats the first time it was sold there. You bring up great points but you only mention points that support your claim and your claims would be more valid if you acknowledged counter arguments instead of ranting.

This whole video is moaning about how PC players have a better experience. Ironically, every single PC server has at least 2 modders. Its been like that for 5 years yet these modders aren’t getting banned EVER. They teleport on you and kill you for fun, put you in a cage, teleport you to weird places, invite you to your own apartment and causing infinite loading loop, kicking you from the server like an admin.… if you go passive mode, they spawn enemies with miniguns on you (or rocket launchers) so they constantly kill you wherever you spawn. I once had a player who constantly get in my server even though i blocked him on social club. He just got in my games and killed me like 1 month. Do you know what rockstar did? LAUNCHED A NEW DLC FOR NEXT GEN CONSOLE PLAYERS WITH NEW CARS AND MUCH BETTER PERFORMANCE UPGRADES, which means a huge “f you” to PC players. You should just try to play on PC and see if you can even play. Some modders even trolled PC speedrunners by killing the character while they speedrun single player. Thats how much power they have. We have been trying to play like this for years, what you are saying is super funny.

if we go by ps3: last gen, ps4/pc: current gen, and ps5: next gen
then I feel like the best version by far is current gen both for console and pc looking at the graphical mess they introduced with the new version.

After VI they already ao far into development, for their next IP being GTA or Red Dead Implement the new A.I NPC real time responses and you'd have a game that could last forever.

No one is getting ripped off cause no one is forced to purchase it. I feel there is too much complaining now a days. It usually sounds like a persons personal preferences that they feel should be pushed onto these companies. Im sure pleanty of people were happy with their purchase.

They could have added a 120FPS mode if they just let the game run at 1080p or 1440p on Xbox Series X and PS5. I don't see why they didn't, most people aren't on a high resolution monitor if they want a high refresh rate and 120FPS would've been an amazing way to get more people into it since that's what a lot of us desire.

I think that the new generation console are just useless, after you play a game like Rdr 2 on a eight generation console, you realise there is little to go forwards that much, its became as a movie if not even better.

As long as peole are ready to buy... Of course they will re-release as much as they can. Its pretty unbelievable though that a ps3 game is still being re-released 😀 its actually insane 😂 by the way, after billions in profits, they could allready lower the price i guess 😂
