ОтветитьI’ve yet to find a tape emulation plugin that does anything appreciable to the sound, although I have found some settings in these plugins that ruin the sound. Not enough discernible improvement to the sound to make it worth it, as far as I can tell.
This video didn’t provide much value. There was no information presented to show how to tweak these plugins aside from selecting a tape type, and the clicking between tape type setting was so fast that there was no opportunity to really listen to any given setting.
Waves J37 (and many Waves plugins) got even better in Reaper because we can enable DAW based oversampling now! It's been years and I still think J37 sounds good, and it has low enough latency that it can be used during composition. I like IK Multimedia's tape emulations a LOT but they have a lot of PDC latency.
