i followed all his steps, i imported textures from a 1.20.1 pack (whimscape or smthn) and when i put it into the resource pack folder and go in game it doesnt appear? and when i try putting the json and properties into another pack the texture gets corrupted and just appears as a purple and black block. if anyone can help me with this i would appreciatre it so much

Is it possible to have it available through lore on a pickaxe? I’m trying to make custom skins for a server i play on and if the skins had a certain lore you could select through multiple options
