So you are saying coming up 4 minutes of angle for 25 yards, zero at 100, 2 at 200and 4 at 400 yards. That my moa is the same at 25 yards as it would be at 400 yards.

@williamedwards6519 - 25.11.2023 04:22

At the prairie dog example, @ 25 yards, your rifle shoots 1" low. Your moa is 1 min at 100 yards. So for this example, if you shoot 1" low at 25 yards, you'd shoot 4" low at 100. And if we are saying your moa at 100 yards =1 then yes, at 25 yards, your moa would =1/4 min.

Lol u said the bullet doesn't rise then in the next conversation u said it rises wth man 😂 I believe that it does because if I set my scope at 100y dead in and shoot at a 50y target I'm going to hit 1" lower

@brett7794
@brett7794 - 26.10.2023 21:46

Just multiply at what yardage your at 300y your hitting 9" low just go 3x3=9 so that would be 3 moa! easy when they don't make it so hard 😆

I know this is an old video, I hope someone can help me. I’m confused at how you can zero your rifle at 200 yards with only a 100 yard range. How can you know you need to come up 2 minutes of angle if you haven’t shot at 200 and don’t know what your ballistics are doing out to 200 yards?

So 1 minute is 1/60 of 1 degree? It sounds like a miniscule amount, but I guess at 100 yards it makes a difference? A 1 inch difference that is

Doesn’t the bullet pass through LOS twice? I have heard that if you want to get on paper at 100 yds with a 556 you should first zero your scope at 42.5 yds since that a about where the bullet will first pass the LOS. So now I’m confused a tad …

in recent history our leadership has set up a three pronged attack on it's own people. The first prong is the psychological predisposition to value or accept a perception of a need for a population kill off. The second prong was for the first time to sell AR style defense shot guns, and to move from the value of traditional hunting rifles to "assault" looking fire arms, which anyone who was predisposed to value defense would buy. The Third prong was to have all knife manufactureres switch to selling spineless knives that were secure with a small pin instead of a spine, and could hardly cut cardboard but that were scary looking or spring loaded "switchblade type" knives.

their passion and desire... has set them to "criminalize" millions of our law abiding and patriotic countrymen... this is how pol pot, stalin, hitler, and similar facilitated the murder of millions of their countrymen and a smoke screen for their own wrong doing.... this is how it goes down.. not a joke.

Additionally... the harrasment of the gun control lobby, the media, and congress people... have driven a biomechanical reaction in the children; making the children think there is no hope for freedom or the future of the nation; this causes the children to be tempted to laziness. Said affliction causes the children to tell themselves that since there is no hope.. there is no reason to try....... and in some cases that turns into a biomechanical defensive reaction to become mass killers. Why mass killers instead of using the 2nd amendment to kill the specific leaders who have hit us with collapse after collapse and quadroupled rent rates while disarming us and shutting our companies down?... .. because the same media, congress people etc. have actively invested much of that embezzled money to make it seem like it is their countrymen... in the form of blanket terms "left" or "right" that is responsible instead of the individual officials who literally caused the problems... .. ensuring that not only do the kids react in a fashion that ensures they are unable to succeed in deturing said legislative abuse, but in a fashion that sets the children to blame each other and facilitate more opportunity for political theft/ abuse.

make sure that you break this cycle....... do not facilitate perception left, right, or any similar... and openly state you are not blaming your countrymen... but the officials who actually did all that bad stuff. as they tempted your children to take up one of two sides, both associated with clear dishonesties. Obviously you must immediately go hard core to stop the criminalization of millions of your countrymen. hang the legislators by the law.. that is what the law and the second amendment are there for.

God's babies... don't pick a side.... after pol pot murders your millions of patriots.. he will then murder the gays.. and the next "undesirable" demographic.. the religious... and who after that?..... the words capitalism, communism, and socialism are curse words to cause you to falsely simplify with a measure of conviction that will allow you to turn your back to your neighbor being abused by the leadership.... do not tolerate anyone who espouses any of that junk.... work... fast, true, and faithfully... to leave it better than you found it.

Finally, this guy was able to make me grasp the fundamentals of MOA. Honestly, Minute of Angle is just a really terrible name for it, and it starts people off more confused than they need to be. Increment of Angle might be better. I think I'll explain it to my girlfriend in woman friendly terms, like what the Droppy / Risey thingie does in clicks, since she has a decent scope.

Seriously, the internet is jam packed with useless idiots teaching people how to kill themselves. I have directed several shooters to Ryan’s videos. This man is a natural educator. Add extreme skill and knowledge, and you have a phenomenal firearms instructor. If you want to test your friend’s knowledge on firearms have them watch this guy. If they criticize or critique this man’s videos, don’t shoot with that moron.

Or you can listen to the “I just fuckin shot myself” guy.

Great info - need to think in terms of subtended angle. So if I did my calculation right 1 mil (1 milliradian) of angle is about 3.438 MOA ie a mil is almost 3-1/2 times larger angle than an MOA. My scope reticle has hash marks in units of MOA so to estimate range R in yards knowing the size of an object S in inches I use the formula R = 95.5 x S / THETA where THETA is my objects angular size in MOA as seen through my scope. I think that’s right….
