Ariat Ropers are Cheap, Simple and Better than the Rambler

Wear 'em daily. Live on 10 acres, might be walking in dirt, caleche or be on a tractor or a horse. They just work... As for the Rambler- NO! Just my .02. These boots are hard to wear out. I clean them with saddle soap, condition the leather and keep boot wax where the outsole and leather come together. Get up, put 'em on, get my day going, take 'em off at night. Wear a 11 1/2 D, like a thin insole as it gives me just a bit more room inside the boot yet still versatile. My opinion, hope it's worthy.

Unfortunately I wouldn't buy this boot because of the integrated heel, that 'feature' turns me off from what should be a quality western boot.

I've own a pair of these for 8 yrs and only had to do 1/2 sole repair. I wear them ALL the time. I own many other pairs of boots, but for knocking around on the property and doing any task, these things are so comfortable!

I bought a pair of these 8 yrs ago and I have had them half soled once. I recently pick up a new pair in black, same size 9.5 d and these things are way too big. It also looks like they aren’t going to be something that can be resoled. I love my first ones! They’re more comfortable and provide better arch support than my Lucheses or my Dan Posts. I’m really disappointed in this new boot.

I just picked up this boot today. I was just looking for a simple around the house yard work boot. Perfect timing with this review. Glad I found it. The boot I picked up says it’s “distressed brown”. Does this mean I need to use a specific type of conditioner for it?

You say they're better than the Rambler, which that's not true. It's all about preference and foot If you wear around a toe boot , that means your foot is more rounded , not blocked Hit y they made square to and rambler toe which I would call hog nose Style boots I have tried once that you are showing now And I tell you now they are not a comfortable boot You do have to understand that. People do have different footbanks and with within their foot In the height of the arch in your foot The bad thing is as justin's make a better comfortable footpad inside the boot Area doesn't really bring much to the footpad scenario But I do like how area keeps it professionally made in the boot I do love your videos I just thought maybe this would be a little bit of thought process for you To explain the different various feat style and what the customer would be interested in

I watched a lot of vids and was all excited waiting for them to arrive.
THEY. ARE. THE WORST PAIR OF BOOTS I'VE EVER HAD.
The sole is OK but the upper. ..... it's like it's made out of wood.
The upper digs into the under side of my ankle bone. I've never had that problem before.
I've had them for a couple of months and I just use them to take the dog down the back for a shit.
I'll never touch any Ariat boots again!

Hey Jeremiah thanks for the review been thinking about picking these out as my first cowboy boots, but im just a little worried about the shaft showing too much from the jeans. As they get older, does the silhouette of the boot in jeans look less apparent?

I’ve had a pair of these for a few years now. I was disappointed with the Made in China. I like to support American made. But These are good boots. Look great, Fit great, feel great. I’ve worn cowboy boots most of my life. I’ll be wearing these for along time.
