Banana Scale FTW!
ОтветитьThe people that are involved in developing the Voron know what they are doing. If they say "Use ABS" just use ABS and not a nylon carbon composite.
ОтветитьWhat is this for?
ОтветитьWait aren't they both German and jet they have a english podcast together
ОтветитьI am thinking of using ASA for my Voron build. What do people think?
ОтветитьCan't wait to make it in college
ОтветитьDoes anyone know if the 2.4 R2 has the same problems with ABS or other materials Changing* shape over time? I really want to build one, but if the parts keep warping I may have to find a good CNC workshop for Aluminium parts*
ОтветитьWhats the point of a printer this small ?
Ответитьhaha, I've just seen tihis vid and thougt Thomas was calling you a moron :)
ОтветитьSeriously tempted to look into building one now. I already have 1515 extrusion and nema 14 stepper motors. I wonder if you could use linear rods rather than linear rails to reduce the cost.
Ответить$450... lol
ОтветитьDid you do the material test for the printed parts? Which material would you recommend for the printed parts?
ОтветитьRelax with the adds
Ответитьtry abs resin for voron parts
ОтветитьSure would be nice to see an update on your original voron build from months ago.
Also your opinion and comparison between your two voron machines and the bamboo machine you reviewed previously
I'm curious to know if you reprinted your parts using the new carbon fiber batches. I'm just starting some structural part designs and am concerned about creep, so I got some carbon fiber nylon. Your issues has me concerned though!
ОтветитьI've seen a 2 minute benchy
Ответитьsomething is slightly strange you bought a formlabs kit and got ldo motors?
ОтветитьIf you can't trust carbon fiber nylon there is no God
ОтветитьHow did you print the banana? Is it in Thingiverse?
ОтветитьЧёрный VORON, чёрный VORON,
Что ж ты вьёшься надо мной,
Ты добычи не дождёшься,
Чёрный VORON, я не твой.
Ты добычи не дождёшься,
Чёрный VORON, я не твой.
i heard ASA performs great
ОтветитьI'd love to see that heat creep video when you have the time! Love those material test videos
ОтветитьABS because most people don't usually have high temp hotends. They are not interested on those other materials
ОтветитьCNC Kitchen asking me what material he should use to make voron parts. Me searching CNC kitchen channel to figure out what material he should use...
ОтветитьWarum skyped ihr auf englisch? Yeah, I know, why do I watch only english videos? But you both speak german. You, I can hear from a mile through your gernglish, (sorry, js) and Tom also lives in germany, I think. His english only very rarely gives him away, and if you don`t know he is from germany, and don`t speak german yourself, you probably wouldn`t even catch it most times. -I didn`t, only when he got german greetings half way through a stream.
Ответитьrecommend using ASA+ or PA12GF "glassfibre reinforced nylon (non glassfibre PA12 lacks stiffness too much and that way can affect print quality by flexin so thats no go zone for fast printing) ..made my own coreXY printer "vz330" from ASA+. As hobbyist learned about HP Multi Jet Fusion technology from that but soon realized for the price of 107 parts to be printed that way using companies would cost around grand ...and if printed by myself ASA+ has still higher temp resistance and was more suitable for my use case for fraction of the price(ofc work hours that it took to print those were over 200 but still)
ОтветитьNOOOO! That CF Nylon has a glass transition temp of only 68C!!! 3DXTECH shows their nylonCF formulation for 6 has a glass transition temp 10 below regular PETG (PETG is generally 80). Their Nylon 12 CF however, is almost 160! You are going to have creep in a printer if the glass transition is below even cheapo PETG!!!
Ответитьsoooo.. nylon cf is better for this than pc cf ?... not sure why, can someone explain?
ОтветитьI wonder how this would do with a duet board.
ОтветитьHow did you make the time elapsed video? That circle moves?
Ответитьwhat was your song in the beginning
ОтветитьWell there goes $450 😂 I'm hooked
ОтветитьI want it... please sell me... lol
ОтветитьPlease do creep tests for a variety of filament materials including Prusament PC Blend. That would be very helpful.
ОтветитьWhy didn't you consider the MP delta mini V2?
ОтветитьSo true!! I'm impatient as fuck too and hate to wait x amount of time to just to have to stop, tweak, and then repeat the process
ОтветитьThe reason there is no bottom plate if I had to guess is the psu you would need to fan cool the enclosure
ОтветитьUlpa filters would be better
Ответитьcan you do a follow up video ?
ОтветитьYeah ok it's cool but not working because of deformation...
ОтветитьWould love to hear a 1 yr follow up video!
ОтветитьVoron parts are designed with ABS shrinkage in mind, so if you print them in any other material, you might have fitment issues :(
ОтветитьI saw a video of somebody printing at 1000mms on this badboy. Now it fascinates me.
ОтветитьMy fastest benchy is 30 minutes it was done on my prusa i3 mk3s+ my second fastest is a flexible filament
ОтветитьEven voron says dont use kits
Ответить
