Going Full Tank - Cold Reap Occultist | PoE 3.20

I got a Void Battery in SSF for the first time and instantly went for this build, it's been a lot of fun :D I'm missing Taste of Hate, but it still feels great imo

Crazy you still get that damage with only one wand. I've been using Exanguinate and the damage seemed better but only because I'm normally a seismic trapper and know how to get damage out of Exsanguinate but im clueless on how to get that kind of dps out of Reap even following your PoB. Thank you for these videos btw these help keep PoE fresh for me playing new builds.

Some people don't seem to understand what the word "guide" means when it comes to PoB. xD Cool looking build want to try it out once I have the investment ready to go.

So this is just me but the reason I go look for and really like Hardcore build guides even if I play only Softcore is because I don't have half the skills streamers do. I am not good at not standing still and evading attacks while trying to use skills. So I die, a lot. So if the build guide is made for Softcore and expect a player to die once or twice a map that usually means I am six-portaling that map or not even completing it. But if the build is made so you don't die ever that might be the 1 or 2 portals I need to complete the map or kill a boss. PS: speaking about anything in red maps here.

This makes me think about Ghazzys Darkpact build. He had to go and make an entirely separate video discussing his defensive layers because PoB didn't really show his eHP which is actually really high.

I dont know how you do it. I tried the build (on 35d budget), in the video its like 250d budget, PoB says I have 4mil dps and I cant kill magic mosters in t16.

Honestly people seem to ALWAYS forget that how the build plays is much more important than pob numbers. If you offscreen & shatter everything including ubers what the hell does it mean if you can't tank for 15 minutes?

How does Ghost shrouds make you tanky if you’re using eldritch battery? They can only protect your mana, not your life?

How is this against Ubers and Sim 30? I'm basically looking at this vs Impending Doom vs Shockwave+Static Strike as a jack of all trades final build for the league. Which means that mapping is important to me as well! Should have somewhere near 80 div budget when I finish selling all my Hexblast Trickster gear.

tried it idk how you were able to get 74% chance to evade, i was doing a decent amount of dmg but i was a glass cannon. You made it work so it must work, just not for me. Awesome build tho..

Sorry, i'm kind a noob, what is a good method to craft the chestplate? Normally i trie craft using fractured bases + some essence that have something i need, but in the trade sacrificial garb don't have fractured mods...

Currently working on getting this together in SSF. super fun to target farm for the build but god the gloves keep eluding me. Failed many veiled chaos slams so far. sadge

i'm maybe blind but i can't figure how you can get to 11 power charges. I can count: 3 base charges + 3 from gear + 3 from the three + 1 from ascendancy = 10 charges. I really can't understand where the 11th one is coming from :P anyone can help me understand please?

I have to agree on the EHP point. I have played some characters with 70-80k EHP and just got nuked into the ground. Then I played a build with 30-40k EHP and did really well in the same situation because the build froze every thing and PoB does not take that into account. Still I feel PoBs, guides, and GGG (mainly GGG) that's missing relaying certain kinds of information. I played a seismic trap build back in delirium everywhere and he felt very tanky with pretty sad gear. Then I played builds with far better gear and just got destroyed so often that I dropped the build altogether because I just couldn't figure out why I was dying with Fire, Lightning, and Cold @75% and Chaos resist at 50%, phys mitigation at 75% evasion at 45% and still just was getting wrecked.

There are so many things you have to cap, and you can have all that defense as I got above and still are paper in a fire storm when it comes to spell suppression and ailment mitigation. I just feel most of the time guide makers know very well what their build can do and what they can't and leave out what they can't when showcasing the build. No one wants to talk about the weak points in builds and how to fill them. Probably because those remedies drastically increase the cost of the build.

Hows the life sustain on this build when pob showing more or less 800/s cost, yet on video it looks like its far less or is just product of dmg being high enough to not need to cast too much? Also for budgeting/starting this build, I presume hoa has higher prio than purity for clearing purposes.

Maybe you're working on a lot more builds or work outside of this but I would love if the PoB had levels 1-100 in there as well. Dont know if i should be going left or right first as im leveling. Gonna be a roll of the dice i suppose
