Ozark: Full Series RECAP before the Final Season

I really don’t rate this show very highly, after watching the detailed excellence of Better Call Saul this seems 3rd rate in comparison, the best character was the FBI guy, the lead characters were annoying, Bateman does not have the emotional range to convince me of his characters personality type, also, the whole show is ludicrously unbelievable, as for Ruth, she was deeply annoying and one dimensional.

One of the absolute best shows out lately. I don't even like these types of programs.....but I couldn't stop watching.

This show seems so fucking terrible lol... the writers' idea of a dilemma is just "these two people have sex"

I watched all four seasons and wished the crinimal family would have experienced justice. They deserved life in prison or worse.

The same applies to Jonah after a point
Some scenes are genuine, you'll know which. But, fuck rachel.
I have a simple rule in life, no unnecessary non sensical plot stretching and character limping drama. And I don't care if it's a show, if it's in front of me and some overdone bullshit, I ain't buying what's selling, irrespective of how good the show is and could be.

As a proud Southerner I can tell you that Rednecks and Hillbillies are definitely two different things, Rednecks are generally just good ole boys, Hillbillies are like Rednecks but on a GTA5 server and all with loaded shotguns and high on crack

I really like that it's Marty trying to get the fuck out of the situation as fast as possible, trying to keep the peace, and avoid conflict to make the situation easier and when I started this series, I just thought they were making Wendy a Skylar 2.0 but seeing that she actually loves the chaos and the power she can get really is something that i didn't expect. When I watch this series I compare it to Breaking Bad because it's obvious they're similar. Marty doesn't become power hungry, he's frightened that he can become that powerful to order hits and whatnot, it seems like he genuinely is doing it for the family and only the family.

Ozark was written by a 12yrs old. Maybe by a son of the producers? The way the FBI and a Mexican Cartel are described here, is the way a 12yrs old would do after playing some xbox games. Take away the stupid sex scenes we have a typic child's play: no investigations at all. No fingerprints are taken, no DNA, nothing. No real consequences: shooting. Done. Investigation? None. Blood can be easily removed by paper towels. Forensic investigations? None. After the 1st episode my wish was: Please, Mr. Frings, take over and take the Salamacas with you None of all this unbelievable stupid people would have survived three episodes.

The whole idea of poppy fields is cute and unique but uh. No. They wouldn't grow well in our climate and the amount of poppy you would need to grow in order to produce heroin would be immediately detected.

Also wtf is the difference between Hillbilly and Redneck? I thought Redneck was acceptable, but Hillbilly wasn't. Whatever, I'm just Irish white-trash from the Northeastern US anyhow.
