they didn't rotate the engine 180 degrees, the 35 engine is a Renault Megane RS engine. and the 45 and 45s are AMG.

My dream hot hatch right there.
The new one is perfect, it actually handles well for a FWD biased AWD chassis, and with drift mode I could still have fun, which is the main reason I drive an M140i.

Really wish they sold the A (and the 45S variant of the 45 engine) in the US. The closest thing seems to be the CLA or GLA 45 but they don't have S.

Stick a Hyundai badge on it and it wouldn't look out of place and the interior looks like something a tacky Lebanese drug dealer would revel in. Can't overlook those issues personally

Had my A45S just over a month, just about run-in , doesn’t sound as good as RS3, but I love it !!

This is why I have huge problems with buying cars... All manufacturers are introducing these crappy looking, crappy feeling things, like the bloody screens instead of the gauges, and the dumbed down transmissions for kidds and soccer moms. Can't find any good cars with a manual transmission anymore, and those that have it, like some of the porches are just not worth the 100k+ euros. Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't care less about that extra 0.2 seconds of 0-100 acceleration, that the DCT transmission offers, when I lose so much satisfaction in normal driving (let's face it, it's what we all do most of the time) because I dont have a manual shifter. And the instrument cluster just looks abysmal. I don't wanna feel like I'm being interviewed by the creator of the Matrix, neither like my little cousin who plays need for speed on his daddy's tablet. I wanna feel like I'm driving. Give me some normal gauges and a manual gearbox. Oh, and give me an option to turn off ALL driver assistance systems. ABS, ASR, emergency brakes and what else not. I don't wanna hear pr feel the imput of a computer on my driving.

For the £50k price tag you can buy a decent example of each e36, e46, & e92 M3's!!!

Fantastic car! Test drove one the other day brutally quick and agree is very similar to an EVO however when really pushing on down a B road you do feel that lard ass 1600kg when anchoring on the brakes on uneven sections which can be a bit unnerving its deceitful as you think It'll be light given it's a hatch! apart from that though it was brilliant and it has so many gadgets etc and good MPG, a perfect car really.

50 thousand and upwards rather get a used e63 amg
