I'm a relatively new member, found you via your crochet content, but I like plants too.
I used to try houseplants, the
common ones, but never did well
with them. It
was really
interesting
seeing the wide
variety of plants you have.
My favorite one is the last fern you showed, it looked like maybe a birds nest fern?

Hi Nick, Congrats getting through the semester. And you do whatever you feel is right for your plants at the moment. I just looked at all my plants on my covered porch, then at my 6 month old rescue kitten, and realized I have to get rid of or consolidate them before bringing them in for the winter in a couple of months. Or else she'll take care of them for me in not a good way, lol. Enjoy the rest of your summer.

Funnily, earlier today I did the plant review. Felt just the same - what to save and what to admit just isn’t working. I’ll be hauling some plants in for the winter ( with plant lights) and I want a good shot at making it till Spring. You have to honest, not just go for quantity.

Thank you so much for this video. I used to have lots of plants but over the years have gotten away from them. After watching this video I am thinking I need to get a few and start all over. I did that with crochet. I learned to crochet when I was 8 years old. And crocheted until I was in my late 40’s then gave it up. Then started all over again about seven years ago. Love your videos!

You have so many beautiful plants. I love plants but I’m not very knowledgeable about taking care of certain plants. I have had lots of aloe plants in the past and they survive because they don’t need much care. I live in south east Texas so I guess I need to look into the best plants to survive in the heat and humidity. Thank you for sharing your beautiful plants. 🧶💜🙏🏻

I wish I was your neighbor so I could adopt the plants you didn't want. Most plants will spring back to life if you cut the stems down to the soil, good drainage, fresh soil and good vibes. The hoya will give you pretty and sweet smelling flowers some day. 😎🪴

How often should we water our house plants. I have a bunch of snake plants that are amazing. My spider plant is good but just in general. Is once a week too little?.

Hoya Compacta Variegata grows VERY slowly. You just need to be patient as it is worth it. 😊
