When you ignore the inner voice telling you "not today. Lets do tomorrow" or "the odds of achieving your goals right now wont happen" and you take physical action despite your inner voice giving you more reasons not to do so, Thats how you become a better version of yourself which only leads to better things in life and true happiness. Happiness is not given, you need to work for it.

he isnt wrong. the happiest ive ever been was when i was working my ass off, in shit situations with a load on my body, to then be done with that and reep the rewards.
now i have problems physically and mentally and still when i struggle though them and come out on the other side i feel my best.

I think that if enough bad things happen to someone that being happy may never happen Im not talking about me but there are people who will never see the light and its not that they wont its that they've lost every spec of innocence they had and can only be happy alone

Very interesting how Joe couldn't conceive of his happiness as a number (a static thing) as it's a "management issue" or rather "happiness is a product of your behavior and choices" instead of something that exists

Wasting energy is a total waste of time

Im a 7 but the goalnif being better or completing a goal can raise it to easy 9 for me 2 goal get slimmer and pay off debt. Then customized my car and build a board game then improve that and get hugher pay job i need steps. One thing that help was that you dontnwork for money u dont work for your boss or family you work for God

I absolutely agree with Joe's stance on hapiness and I recognize myself and that part within me, which is lazy and whining (sometimes I am like that)...I needed that tonight. Every single day is a struggle,but if I choose to do things that suck on purpose then I can handle anything and withstand the tough things that I do not choose to experience in my life. Thanks, Joe, for reminding me who we all should strive to be.

Happiness is an emotion. It comes and goes. It’s not a chronic state. Joe, you are right on. I have lost so many… Friends I guess I could call them friends but they’re not friends anymore because they’re so negative. My boundaries are set but I’m really having a hard time finding a new friend group of positive loving people.
