Hi Frank, I have been using this keyboard for 2 years now, and have some problems with some of the swithches. These switches are no swappable, am I correct?
ОтветитьStop crying and buy the tkl version you hooker. Some of us have big hands and love the bigger keyboard. Buy the smaller one since you want it so bad. It's definitely not a con.
ОтветитьWhy are there 2 usb connectors on this thing lol
ОтветитьMy rgb lights won’t turn on. Idk if I’m even doing it right first time building a pc and I have this keyboard
ОтветитьThe first alloy elite rgb is terrible. the keycaps break after weeks of use and you have to go out and buy new ones, the space bar stabilizers are a disaster, they make noise everywhere when you press the key and even resting your fingers on it.
ОтветитьGreat review. As a lefty yes need the numpad :)
ОтветитьI bought one of there 50 dollar keyboards which has served me well i the past year
ОтветитьIm so glad it has a numpad. Im sad people are getting rid of it.
ОтветитьThere the best keywords I've ever owned and half the price
Ответитьhi ! I have this keyboard but unfortunately i had to RMA it 3 times in two years. It started out when I got the HyperX alloy elite 1 and when that broke they replaced it with hyperx alloy elite 2. Most of the time some of keys just stopped functioning or barely registering when i press it. now some of the keys are barely functioning again this will be the 4th time and its now out of warranty. dunno why but I dont even play games that much anymore or heck even used my pc a lot. I guess for me this is not a reliable keyboard. :(
I wish they made the switch hot swappable
It's time for change my ''pfp''
ОтветитьDon't buy this shit please, spacebar stopped working two weeks after I bought it and the support team wouldn't help. Seems to be a problem with a lot of these keyboards, as well as the windows key not working
ОтветитьHey Frank. You're the keyboard guru, so I wanted to ask you for a recommendation. I am looking for a full size keyboard with a detachable cable. I'd like it to be hot swappable and have rather silent keys. And possibly south facing Leds. Do you know of any like this that jump to mind? Thanks in advance!
Ответитьduring gaming. obviously you dont need a numpad. but as a person who is used to using the numpad in general. i will always look for a gaming keyboard that has one
ОтветитьMonitor name?
Ответитьi bought ths KB from canada to Philippines. but its grounded.
ОтветитьAmazing keyboard
ОтветитьUsed this keyboard before, didn’t like it so had to get back to the hyperx alloy origins. Still my favourite out of all the keyboards hyperx has to offer.
ОтветитьOne question before I buy it needs 2 usb to connect to my pc??? Or just 1??
Ответитьmy friend gave me this for Christmas and I can say, it is quite awesome
Ответитьis there any way to make it not rainbow and like just red or blue?
Ответить(some) Singleplayer games are useful to have a full keyboard for, IMHO.
ОтветитьI just moved from Logitech's GX Clicky switches to HyperX reds.
They are very satisfying to use
literally buying this keyboard for the numpad.. I need it for squad :')
ОтветитьI have a HyperX Alloy Origins 60. But a keryboard like the Elite 2 would let me control my Time Machine in my game a lot easier.
ОтветитьNo per-key rgb? 🤮
Ответить“Who needs a num pad” Me: cries in buy binds
ОтветитьI got my Alloy Elite 2 for 90 USD ... got some extra money so I bought PBT Pudding from HyperX too and it was awesome!
ОтветитьIt was all good till you cracked your hands just to test a keyboard real strange🤣🤣🤣
Ответитьi can only warn everyone buying products from hyperX. the keyboard looks amazing, feels stiff and strong but the long term quality is terrible and not worthy a flagship, hyperX knows that, but refuses to help you, in case you contact the support, save yourselves troubles and look for other brands, my alloy elite lasted 2,2 years and the switches started to break down, talking about a minimum of 50mio clicks per switch... disappointing considering my last keyboard ve lasted over 12 years! same care and usage as always, i don't know if razer, corsair etc. got similar issues, i can only tell you not to waste your time and money on hyperX products
ОтветитьYou need the numpad if you play Arma
Ответитьits my first mechanical keyboard and i love it my dad got it for me when it was on sale at best buy. it's pretty much perfect for me with the way i got everything setup on my desk. i had a little paint peel off at the bottom but that's probably from using it so much, some testors paint helped cover it up. the rgb shining through the pudding keyboard keycaps is pretty and bright, and i like the way it sounds and feels when typing. i've been using openrgb for rgb software since i got a hyperx keyboard, razer mouse, and gigabyte motherboard, it lets me control all 3 of them, doesn't support as many effects but just want good matching colors for my wallpaper scheme. if you wear glasses the red accents underneath can give off a kinda cool "3d glasses" glare effect if you have your keys set to a nice blue or purple color
ОтветитьI do agree that the keyboard should have come with a wrist rest however, I am so glad that the num pad is available. This keyboard is great for those who are gamers and are going to school.
ОтветитьI need a numpad for gmod
ОтветитьWhile you might not need or want a num pad, taking it away entirely from gaming board would be a mistake. modular keyboards would be a good middle ground for this I suppose cause you can attach and detach them whenever you want, but the last thing I want to have to do is buy an extra thinjg I have to plug in because I hate typing numbers using a 1 - 9 layout instead of a keypad. it'll stick out from everything else too. I'm all about saving desk space but my setup is a home studio, I have much less space than all of you, my desk is always full of midi controllers and a numpad on my keyboard (logitech g512 for size reference) has not been an issue at all. you all just get too obsessed with Order and forget about functions.
ОтветитьI don't know man. I work a computer job a numpad is very useful.
Ответитьnumbpads can be used for macros! saves space on those outside macros that corsair k95 have that sucks
ОтветитьNUMPAD MUST ALWAYS BE THERE!
ОтветитьI’ve had this board for a good while now and I absolutely love it. The switches are the best I’ve used, the RGB is amazing and the build quality is really great. I plan on keeping this for a long time!
ОтветитьWhich would you recommend between this keyboard and and the cosair k57 wireless? And which one has brighter RGB?
Great VID by the way.
just got mine on sale for 89.99 love this keyboard
ОтветитьAbsolutely not with you on the TKL. The market is so over saturated with TKLs it is almost impossible to find an affordable full size keyboard. We dont need yet another ugly and useless TKL
ОтветитьTKL is literally the worst thing to happen to the keyboard industry
ОтветитьCorsair K70 media keys are also rubberdome. and with MMOs, I use numpad A LOT.
Ответитьi have normal but no thanks for this because no wrist rest :(
ОтветитьI decided to go for the Allow instead of this one because of the size. The top bar looks great but I feel like it’ll make my desk a bit more bulky than it should be. Plus, the top buttons are also integrated in the key with the Alloy. Regardless, both look great. The RGB and the typing sound with Hyperx red linear key sound absolutely amazing.
ОтветитьVery complete review, the only thing that I didn't heard is if the switches are hot swap
Ответить
