The Most Backlogged Games

Finally beat Pantheon 5 on Christmas. That’s one game off my backlog

I own 5 out of these 10. 4 are backlogged, but I did complete Tomb Raider. Go me!
Also on my backlog: 5 Assassin's Creed games, 5 Half-Life games, 3 Mass Effects, 2 GTAs and many more!

My issue with tackling my backlog, comes from 2 things. I usually stream most single player games, yet I hardly have alot of time or drive, and secondly, games that I'm hooked on are usually live service, like destiny, warframe etc.

I can explain why Bioschock is in my backlog. It is because I can't fix the glitch of the game being super dark on newer Windows versions. Apperently this is a bug that a few people have, and there are some fixes for it, but I can't seem to get mine to work.

I actually have beaten the witcher 3. So good

Interesting that Bioshock is in the Backlog and not the Sucessor Dishonered which is much more difficult.
I still like the Bendy Series more, but for people who like the setting, I get it.

tomb raider 2013 is amazing 🔥✨✨🔥
but the ending was meh

im a pretty casual gamer yet ive played and finished almost all of the games on this list

still haven't played portal games and half life 2 xD, i keep postponing playing Half life 2 untill the 3rd game comes out apparently xD

Funny how most of these games I never beaten nor do I have an interest in. RPGs are just a really overhyped genre to me.

Late to comment, but with Bioshock Complete collection, it gives you both the HD version AND the original. most people dont have the need to play both, and add that on top of regular backlog numbers, and there you go

If Portal 2 is in your backlog you need to start playing it today

As someone who's actually played every single game on this list (except Bioshock 2), here are the objectively correct rankings for each one:

Skippable/Don't really hold up: Tomb Raider, Witcher 2, Borderlands 2, and the whole Bioshock series

Really excellent games that are absolutely well worth the time investment: Hollow Knight, Witcher 3, and Fallout New Vegas (but especially Hollow Knight)

Jesus Christ it's only 8 hours, just play Portal 2 already: Portal 2

If only there was just 10 games in our backlog~
That aside it can feel pretty good seeing the backlog number going down, while trying to figure out which games you actually like to play. I have a few point-and-click adventure/puzzle games, and I realized I really do not like playing most of them. You walk slow and the solution to some of the puzzles are so out of they way, that I do not even consider them an option even after looking up a guide. So future me needs to chills when considering buying more games in that genre.

I've had Boader lands 2 three separate times since 2014 and never completed it. I swear I will one day

Damn, I have every one of these in my backlog, except for New Vegas!

I have a rule that I am not allowed to buy any new games until I trim my backlog a bit. That is unless a new game in a series I really like comes out.

as a teenager it was hella easy to breeze through games. especially with blockbuster's game rental policy back then (you could pay like $7 a month to rent one game at a time)

now as an adult it's hard to immerse myself into a gaming experience for more than an hour. especially with a modern AAA title. most games that come out today don't even let you start playing until a 12 hour download. Then when you do manage to start there is an hour of exposition (red dead being my ideal example) so its hard to even want to start playing.

i have Bully and Lego The Hobbit on backlog…for three years. that’s in addition to Lego The Skywalker Saga for over a year 😳😎

If I consider all the (now) retro games I barely touched, and the steam list of games I'll in all likelihood never play, it's gotta be 700/800 games "backlogged" at this point. I just have to accept that it's okay to not play everything.

7/10 for me. I have all of these games except for the Witcher ones, and I have already played Portal 2

I recently started tackling my backlog but there’s so many times where I know a game is good but Im just not in the mood to start a new adventure. It’s weird, for the first Bioshock I had to really commit and that game is just 10H

The three in my backlog are Bioshock Infinite, Witcher 3 and Portal 2.

I have beaten Hollow Knight, Bioshock 1 and Bioshock 2.

The rest aren’t really my style of game. Except maybe Tomb Raider, but I’ve never been interested enough to put any cash into it when I have other games I know I’ll play.

I also have Elden Ring in my backlog, which I really want to jump in as well as both Persona 2 games. Those are the notable backlogged games I can think of.

My backlog has taken over my steam library. Its sad.

I have most of these in my backlog. The majority of my backlog are older RPGS that are viewed as classics and that had good sales on Steam or were free on Epic Games. I usually play games like that when there isn't anything new that has taken my interest.

I only liked and wanted Fall Out 3 for the 40's music on the radio! 😂😂😂😂 I didn't care to much for the story or anything…

The only game out of these I currently have in my backlog is Portal 2, both games were on sale for like a dollar so why not

Hollow Knight was in my backlog for a while because I somehow missed the entrance to the second area or didn't pick up the first important thing to get there. Met with my cousin who I haven't seen in a while, he had 200 hours in the game, remembered that the game is pretty cool and it all worked out well. Now I got 90 hours on Hollow Knight and still playing it almost daily to get all the achievments

How many people have backlogged a game is also directly correlated to the popularity of a game. I think that it makes a larger difference than the actual length of the game. People might pick a highly acclaimed game that they've heard of but not play it because it's not the type of game that they usually play and they prioritise playing more niche games that they're more invested in.

The BioShock trilogy is always on sale for very cheap. Thats why.

i only have one backlogged game assasins creed valhalla I am a huge norse mythology fan but that game is just pure garbage

I want to play RDR 2 one more time. That game is a commitment, and I really prefer games that are 12 or 20 hours long. I have an unopened copy of the world ends with you on ds. Had it for a decade or something.

At least I finished bioshock 1 and 2, and i dont think i have fallout new vegas, but geez

was kinda weird watching you talk about a bunch of games that you haven't really played. Not bad, but felt dispassionate bc so many games you just went super quick like "havent played it dont know". good idea, just maybe not for you
