Nord VPN sucks
ОтветитьThe only good reason to use VPNs:
Secure Database and Server Authentication and website IP whitelisting
Here are the cons for using nord
-slow
-sometimes it takes about 20mins+ to connect to a server
Pros
-cheap
I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt, using a vpn can dramatically (5-8x!) increase my internet speeds, I'm using a cellular based internet setup and it likes to throttle me for no reason but only to certain sites. VPNs bypass that, at least for 20-30 minutes. Beyond that, the network seems to sometimes just pick the slowest connection path it can find and using a vpn can let me effectively manually pick the path, especially since mine has multihop capability.
ОтветитьThis video should be mandatory to watch if you're going for a VPN. But Henry, you might hurt Tom Spark's feelings with it :)
ОтветитьI tried a VPN a couple years ago. I forgot if it was Express or Nord (whatever I saw the ad for last) and made full use of that 30 day guarantee. Despite connecting to a local server both my PC and phone were straight knee capped when it came to loading times and there were regular occurrences when I had to disable the vpn all together to get my phone online.
ОтветитьWhat do you think of Deeper Network DPN compared to VPN services? Have you looked into them or done a review?
Ответитьactually the more any company advertises the less i want to buy their products because of a fundamental question that can be posed.
where does the money for all that advertisement come from?
for me the only obvious conclusion is it's coming from the product's quality (or rather the lack thereof).
i wonder - do you work for mullvad or iVPN? as you push it repeatedly? - they offer nothing better other than the option of anon sign up!!
Ответитьwhy nord and surfshark are shady? they didnt had any leaks and are safest
Ответитьits so sad how even privacytools fell off and sold out to nordvpn, i already found em sketchy back then when they recommended binance which asides from KYC is one of the worst exchanges ever, they have like 2.5 stars on trustpilot😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣
edit: they have 2 stars🤯🤣🤣🤣
lmfao, proton has a clean history? This shxt kept logs for cops multiple times dude! Even nordvpn is more trustworthy than this swiss trash by at least having multiple audits by big firms and NO record of serving your info on court
STOP promoting proton for gods sake
Hhhhuh huh huh... You said 'edge' huhuhhhuh (in Butthead voice) (it was a TV show that old people watched when we were young)
ОтветитьSo question about the course. What do you mean older content? And if I buy it now, will I have access to later courses as well? Can non-students download them? How lacking is the content in the free version compared to the paid one?
ОтветитьTrue IP address is easily mapped to home or business physical address. And mapped by internet provider usually to your true name as well. Mapping by same IP is not so big deal compared to this in my security model. Telling people they don't need to keep everyone from knowing their true IP address is a huge disservice. Perhaps a solution might be popup wrieguard services on anonymous servers.
ОтветитьImagine crypto
Ответитьfinally who know's what they are talking about :)
ОтветитьI guess the title is supposed to be draconian.
Ответить"The VPN you use probably sucks"
Me with Mullvad VPN: 😏 nope
Great content 🙌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Ответитьشكراً لك على هذه المعلومات
ОтветитьThis was a really good informative video. I learned a lot from this video. Keep up the good work!

ОтветитьSimply put, I use a VPN to change my IP. To stream content from other places, to buy games in cheaper regions, etc. The "hacker boogeyman waiting around the corner who will definitely get you if you're not on a VPN, which will DEFINITELY protect you" is scare-tactic nonsense designed to prey on people who don't understand tech. Same with "the prying government who has you under a microscope and is keeping a record of your naughty website history."
It's not a magical forcefield, it's a utility. I don't use it for security, I use it as a tool to get around restrictions; and the nice thing about that is you know right away if it's working. I use Nord because the features are nice and I got in on a sale, but I honestly don't imagine that if I switched to any of the other majory players that I'd notice that much of a difference.
Thank you!
ОтветитьMaybe la Chocha tuvo algo que ver 💯👍
ОтветитьYet another reason to not use paid streaming platforms
Ответить"Military grade encryption"
"Secure personnal data"
Hey thanks for sharing the relationship map as that was a massive undertaking. The haircut looks sharp too mate! :P
ОтветитьHi techlore, first thanks for the video, very insightful. I use vpn because I dont want my employer to know thw websites I am browsing while I am connected to their wifi network. I also use it in public places. I also use mullvad which is great, after trying quite a few over the years
ОтветитьWhy there is never the VPN perfect privacy in test?
Would be rly intressting for me and maybe other users.
Me as someone who's imprisoned in iran:
I use vpn to access Internet
What about TorGuard?
ОтветитьI use myself Perfecft Privacy VPN. One of the Oldest VPN and was never seen in any "Leak" or "Data Breach". I know some of the Transparency is missing, but most of the well known other "Privacy" VPNs had some problems or some sus stuff like Proton as example. One thing that have proofed me that they are fine to use is, that i know a Story of a Person that have did a Cyber Damage of over 10 Million (in germany), and no data was shared of the VPN. (Sorry if my English is bad, i just woke up)
ОтветитьDoes anyone know if purism vpn is any good for privacy
I don't see it on the techlore vpn chart
can you make a noob video on decentralized vpn?
Ответитьwhat do you think of kaspersky's vpn
ОтветитьMakes an important video against unreflected use of VPNs and places a ad for crypto currency before it (I just want to cry) … why can’t we just don’t scam people?
Ответитьmullvad is winner
pia&proton isnt bad
nord vpn is nsa vpn :)
Every ISP is guranteed to spy?
Maybe in the USA, but where i am it is illegal for such service providers to monitor packets.
