Yup. You're wrong. David Draiman is a classically trained singer as well as a rock god.
On the day this was recorded he had a fever of 103°f and still came out and killed it.
He's crazy talented.

This performance is autotuned as is every performance on this show. Draiman was also very sick during this performance. He was very very angry when found out they had autotuned him.

This is NOT a good version of him singing this song. I've heard a MUCH better rendition of this song. THIS is mamby-pamby. The rendition I heard was soulful, strong and WAY above average.

Actually, he had a head cold when he sang the song and the guy that was running the sound for the show put autotune on part of it, and it pissed him off.

David knows exactly what he is doing with the fry. He trained with a vocal coach. In fact he still trains with his vocal coach. David started his musical career as a Cantor like his famous great grandfather. Watching this incredible man do interviews is fascinating. He also champions the cause of mental health awareness. I adore him. Btw Disturbed is a heavy metal band.

This song was apparently autotuned before release unlike the version with Draiman and Miles Kennedy.... the interesting thing is that David is also a producer and the his voice is one that never needs autotune.

I would like to say that you are a horrible song criticizer. You are condescending in a lot of ways, and above all not informative. You should listen to Aliyah Capilli, who is an 18 year old opera singer and also gave her reactions to this same song. She pointed out how the songs starts quiet, dark, and melancholy and slowly builds up as the song progresses. The emotions expressed was also pointed out in the raspiness, and more wide open voice. You should listen to Aliyah on how she critiques a song. You might learn from her, which I hope you do or if not, disappear forever. No one will miss you. Thank you,
