Hello Mitch very changeable weather since we will need a score card. I am very curious what the rest of the Winter will be like going into 2025.

Monday’s clipper has kind of changed our travel plans. I wanted extra time to prepare but I guess that’s not happening now. Preparing to travel Sunday now. It’s a long trip to southern Ontario now with a pup.

Good morning, Mitch and weather family! We're enjoying some beautiful weather all over Wyoming this weekend! I'm taking my kiddo down to Cheyenne for some shopping for the day. Mitch, please keep an eye on these weather systems in the East for me. My parents are headed to Carmel, Indiana this weekend for Christmas with my sister and her family. Pray for a safe trip for them too.

Kind of looks like very small round frozen pellets. I never even heard of it till I moved here. Oxford, OH woke up to rain and 38 degrees at 6am. It switched to flurries around 8:30am. Temp is now about 32 at 9:30am

You are just like me I love snow I’m originally from Philadelphia, but I lived in Florida for many years and recently moved back because of the change of seasons and I want it to snow unfortunately we have not received a lot of snow up here at all in the past couple years I’m very disappointed. I’m really thinking about moving to Buffalo lol.

Hey Mitch, I wanted to let you know that the NAM model does a lot better with North west flow events in WNC. Unfortunately it got to around 65 the other day, so this snow will have a hard time sticking to the ground.

Asking for a small prayer that my immune system can kick whatever sickness I have before Christmas. Covid tests have been negative as of now so I’m hoping it’s a cold, but will continue to test the next day or so to make sure. I’ve felt so sad thinking I might miss all the Christmas festivities, but I can hear the Holy Spirit telling me to just be still and really focus on the true meaning of this holiday season. Get real there's calling for no weather this week end or next week and only rain new years week.

I think any cold that might show up from January onward, will be just like what we have seen. Very brief and mostly dry. In the mean time another long stretch of boring above normal. It's raining here in WV today as expected and you can clearly the no snow zone area I outlined yesterday on the NWS map. BTW I had heard of microclimates before, just never heard of what happens in my part of WV referred to as one.

I got a brief snow shower in Fairfax VA around 9am. It didn't accumulate, but it was snowing pretty hard.

Grapple is like dipping dots. Sleet is denser...more icy. Grapple more like a foam consistency
