Playing this mission on Veteran was frustrating, but very realistic.

the graphics and face animations in this game are insane! ..young people don't appreciate this, but this is crazy for 2017, its even better than most games today.

I remember during my basic this call of duty campaign came out and it hit me hard after the training and learning the same things these guys did. The whole “I’m up-he sees me-I’m down” the whole shoot move and communicate. It was impactful. I’m grateful for the guys who did it before me and continue to be grateful for them every day

A lot of things about this war will forever astound and impress. For one thing. England's resistance. Nearly ALL of Europe has submitted to the Axis powers, and England's in spitting distance of Nazi occupied Paris. Almost feels as though it'd be suicide to say no to an enemy with greater numbers, but England basically looks them straight in the eye and says, "Bring it on". England, all by itself, held the line for the Allied Forces, enduring blietzkrieg after blietzkrieg, and that was just the start for their involvement in the war, y'know? Gotta give 'em credit; England can sure take punishment when need be.

Another thing was how short it all seemed once America got involved. I mean, right after Pearl Harbor, that was it, that was the straw that broke the camel's back. Once we had a good reason to fight, ol' Roosevelt officially declared war. Right after D-Day, all it took was 1 year of hard fighting in the European and Pacific Theater's and it was over. It's amazing how quick it was, by comparison, to end the fighting. I know it took more than America to win the war, but it would be ignorant to dismiss the fact that the Allies wouldn't have won the war without the US

War is war and it’s scary and unsettling but playing this makes you salute the people who were actually there because this mission is nowhere near close to the actual atmosphere that day, let alone us having the game advantage of taking damage or doing it respawning. Can’t imagine what those men felt emotionally

People love to shit on Call of Duty WWII because of the multiplayer, but there was genuine passion put into the story of this game. just from the 2 minutes into the intro, it invokes a patriotic waking inside you.

the sad part about normandy is that i could take a look at a photo of 1000 men maybe 100 and just start pointing and saying “he died, he died he died” amd i’d prolly be right

They should had a difficulty where if you get hit buy a gunshot once you either die, bleed out, or barely survive. Daniels has like unlimited health it makes it less realistic. It it just a game though.🤷‍♂
