Words from an unknown survivor: Welcome... Welcome to a world where what we've all known so well no longer applies. This is a world where law and order no longer apply. For so long, humanity has played the invincible animal species until Mother Nature, or perhaps God himself, decided to end our activities here once and for all. Our pride and constant lust for power has plunged us into the darkest void imaginable. Out of several billion people, only a few thousand individuals remained who escaped the terrible Armageddon. And now they have to go on... They have to live from day to day and try to survive in this unforgiving empty world. They have to accept the fact that they have to rely only on themselves... Cities big and small that once bustled with activity every day are now eerily empty. Everywhere the human eye look there was life. Everything had its own order and rules - now there is only a tiny echo of it all to be had. You constantly hear this echo of human civilization that makes you think about it all the time. Over and over. It makes one constantly think about those last days of billions of people. Everywhere you look, you see things of everyday activity. You see household appliances, cars, cell phones and all sorts of other remnants that are now exposed to the ravages of time, which will one day completely remove it all. You know - it's scary that time has completely stopped in our world, but PARADOXICALLY - it keeps running forward. Only without us... Yes - even that TIME spat in humanity's face and runs on. And he left us. There are only us, the few thousand survivors and nothing around us... It's all like some kind of bad dream that you can't wake up from because it's simply reality. All those objects that people used to own and as I already mentioned, are now divided into unnecessary and more than useful for life. Now a branded iPhone is not worth more, but a quality survival knife. It doesn't even matter if it's Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. It doesn't even matter if it's morning, afternoon, evening or midnight. You just live HERE AND NOW. You know - I actually envy those who are already dead. Nothing bothers these people anymore. Your main concerns are only: Having drinking water, food, warm clothes, quality equipment and a safe shelter. You never know if someone else is secretly stalking you and coveting your gear that you're lugging around in your backpack. This world does not forgive even the slightest mistake. And if someone kills you just to take your equipment, there is no one to punish them and make them go to jail. NO... He won and you lost... There is nothing more to it. It's so plain and simple yet so hopelessly terrifying and dark... The only thing that can take you break out of this scary and empty reality for at least a few hours is quality sleep, which, of course, cannot be experienced regularly and at the same time every day. And when you're already sleeping and you even have a beautiful dream, after waking up you see the empty reality AGAIN and your thoughts begin AGAIN to focus on the basic needs necessary for survival. WHY CAN'T I WAKE UP FROM THIS NIGHTMARE??? WHY DID NO ONE PREPARE MANKIND FOR WHAT WAS COME??? WHY???!!!

I'm currently planning a post apocalyptic film(?) idea, heres the basic concept:
After the "end of the world" (there's still people but they all wear gass masks) caused by a sort of nuclear virus, a sentient robot-ish creature forms from the remnants of Chernobyl. Some scientists decide to take it with them to experiment with it in their laboratory and find extreme signs of human qualities. (mainly emotions) They also discover that all of the experiments and being treated like an inanimate object have upset it and have hence put their lives in grave danger. However, instead of lashing out, the organism escapes the laboratory seeking assistance from another human. It starts leaving encoded messages in a recked town with hardly anyone living there. After some investigation, some men find the robot and suggest terminating it. Then, a young female (17 years old) insists that they don't and then begins to form a relationship with the robot. This music is very helpful in it's development so thank you very much for uploading this.

I'm damn glad I moved to Colorado before everything collapsed. Its a beautiful place to die. The only real, serious danger besides disease was the deranged survivalists making a target out everything that moved. Of course they were the danger. Of course they were the threat. When someone dropped every cent they could scrape together on yet another fucking weapon and yet more ammunition, obviously they're going to shoot you when there's finally no Johnnys Law round to mete out a punishment.

Ironic. They're all dead now. They weren't the only people who could shoot and strategize. Shockingly enough, so many got sloppy to the point where obvious open holes were left in their defenses. Good for me.

Why? Why, you ask, did I do these things? Why did I declare war on these people?

One of them shot my dog. That worthless son of a bitch killed my Rose when she bounded off after a deer I shot. He saw her and he took his shot. I heard it immediately and I crippled him with shots to his limbs. To give him what he deserved later, you understand. I found her as a puppy, wandering around looking for food. She wasn't even three years old.

I held her as she died. She died quickly, and I like to think she just went to sleep. I lashed that son of a bitch to my pack with some rope under his arms and dragged him behind me while I carried Rose home to bury her beneath one of my berry bushes.

But him? I strung his broken body over a cross I cobbled together and left him out in the Colorado sun. I gave him water every day, so he wouldn't immediately die. It took him a little over three weeks to finally bugger off. I didn't bother taking him down after. I figured out where his camp was and absolutely robbed it blind. He had some nice stuff. A fun distraction from the ever-approaching end.

The apocalypse killed the vast majority of humanity, both as a species and the goodness and decency we ascribe to that word. Now it's just a matter of time until we choke our last breath out. I don't expect I'll be round to see that.

This is a nice place to die.

What is funny with Humanity is that by imagining a catastrophe, everyone thinks they are among the survivors.

This isn't post apocalyptic music. What gives you that idea? This is just music that you've put that label on for some reason. I could call this "Lonely outer space music" and it would be just as effective. Post apocalyptic music needs to have at least something to do with that idea. So for example, The Fixx Red Skies at Night. If someone said that's post apocalyptic music, you could at least understand where they might get that idea. All these videos are just nonsense really. At least the titles are. And the associated images since they don't necessarily match the music.
