Like us all, we work, get into good money from a passion in a career, i never went to college, i really didnt like school.

Thought about running box trucks, 35k for a box truck, get some contracts and make some money, save up and buy another box truck and hire someone to drive it. Of course theres more logistics than that but it was an idea none the less. 35k youll succeed or you will fail, if you fail, you learn and try it different. yeah i did 36k a month longtime back, doing telecoms work, you know how much i actually made after taxes, fuel, hotels, food, van maintence, tools and staff. About 7k, some months are slow, some months you dont get paid until late, and sometimes theres no work at all, so it levels out over the year you have no employment rights and its risky financially, just go to school and do white collar, you will age less ! You can make a million bucks and have 1 dollar yourself thats the risk. You probably heard many stories of truck companies going bust, hes young and has had a good run, but it dont last forever, he has created a company and thats something we need to get back to, so well done him !

Maybe I will not start out doing reefer and do just dry instead when I start out just to save on any chance of that expense on a reefer load going faulty. I would bet that insurance would have covered that load if it wasn't salvaged. But the expense of the customer losing faith in your business could be a lot more detrimental at that particular time, especially, with just starting out. That may have been the most important part of this video for me. Thank you for sharing.
