ОтветитьI always enjoy seeing the commercial jobs.
Ответить🤘😎🤘🫖☕️🍪🎥👍👍🇬🇧
ОтветитьDefinitely needs that safety valve. Very normal on systems that size. Used to do mechanical maintenance in a large hospital. We had to test the safety valves fitted to the steam calorifiers. Would pump them up to check the blow off pressure was correct. If it was incorrect you would grind the seating , a bit like you would do on a tap. Had to use carborundum paste to do it successfully Loved the work , tight deadlines and quite stressful at times , but the money was rubbish..
ОтветитьWhats wrong with boss white and hemp .. the old way.
ОтветитьGreat video Tom as always 👍😎
ОтветитьGreat Job Tom,
Them jobs are great video to watch mate

Nice job. Iron pipework is hard graft but very satisfying. Aiden earned them freddos😊

ОтветитьHi Tom, a nice commercial job there, definitely some wrestling needed with that iron pipe.
As you say it is always nice to do a variety of jobs, it keeps the job interesting.
Have a great weekend and as always, take care. 👍👍👍
Grand job Tom. I always liked iron work
ОтветитьSound job there you two. No need to hit the gym now, those Stilsons gave you all the workout that you need! Got a 3ft set that weigh a ton. Very interesting vid, thanks!
ОтветитьInteresting little job Tom, never did much commercial stuff so it’s nice to see it, pleased everything is busy, don’t work too hard, and have a great weekend 🚽👍
ОтветитьHow do you price this type of job? (If you are comfortable to discuss here..)
ОтветитьI started my career as a union welder and I had a foreman from Belfast who used to say : boys were strangling black iron for a few weeks . So we welded everything 2 1/2” and above , we were so good at it . But We’d be working alongside union fire sprinkler fitters in high rise buildings who’d threaded everything including 6” sch 40 . Have you tried picking up a 6” reducing tee? I mean we never understood why they didn’t weld or use Victaulic style couplings but watching you two getting your asses kicked their reminded me of those really hard men . I mean hard as nails and we thought we were tough.
ОтветитьAiden’s settled in nicely! I think he’s earned a wispa gold instead of a caramel fredo 👌
Ответитьanother warm customer is a happy customer👍👍👍👍
Ответить👍🏻👍🏻💯
ОтветитьAll the videos you put out are interesting Tom,
Ответитьalways interesting tom . you got all the kit to take on iron pipework was nice to watch.
ОтветитьBigger Stilsons required. 😁
ОтветитьThere no way those pipe fittings are coming apart when boss white and hemp was used on then 😮.always needs heat .Good job there both of you 👍👍.
Think we all get a bit down with jobs sometimes Tom .
Just have to muddle through. 👌👌
An interesting video Tom, as always. Always a pleasure to watch - thanks for your hard work in making the videos.
ОтветитьA leak is part of the onion family not the other way round.
ОтветитьTom… unusual for that size of installation not to have a separate open vent pipped directly from a tapping on the boiler separately run to the GOT. Probably still need nowadays an open vent and safety valve to meet modern safety requirements.👍
ОтветитьGreat to see the different content Tom, i hope you have a great weekend 👍
ОтветитьBrill video Tom
Ответитьthats better work than chasing pipes into walls eh tom 😂
ОтветитьTo crack the union don’t hit it on the flat of the union, hit it on the hexagon edge. One of the reasons why it’s hard to turn is also because it’s pushing back into the seat. Always awkward, screwed pipe.
