In this video I say that mechanical engineers take some electrical classes but electrical engineers don't take any mechanical engineering classes. As some comments have pointed out this does depend on your university (and sometimes your concentration) so there's no guarantee on what you can expect. Some electrical engineers might take thermodynamics, mechanics of materials, and so on, just be sure to look into what colleges you apply to. Sorry for the confusion!
ОтветитьMechanical Engineering is the key technology and the father of all engineering majors. All engineering majors are very dependent on Mechanical Engineering. Including the internet run by mechanical engineering machines. 99% of the contents of our house are related to mechanical engineering except our bodies and lives. A very important department and always have to be more than ready if war breaks out. Civil engineering is most dependent on mechanical engineering. There are no skyscrapers without mechanical engineering. Tools of war and weapons are the scope of mechanical engineering including nuclear reactors.
ОтветитьEverything in ME can remembered with intuitive, but u can't solve the problem with intuitive u need computers to solve, but our ego and people expectation make us talk like we can solve intuitively.
ОтветитьIf you can't pick the right one just choose both which is called a mechatronics
ОтветитьMechanical if you’re cool. Electrical if you’re smart.
ОтветитьThank God ....I'm a Mechanical Engineer
ОтветитьI got my BSEE in 1982 and had to take three ME classes -- mechanics, thermo, and materials science.
ОтветитьThere are mechanical classes in EE
Ответить“Calculus level math” is an understatement
ОтветитьAm I able to do both? I’m so interested in both of them but I have a feeling I’m going to be better at electrical engineering because I already do lots of it? It’s such a hard choice though!
Ответитьthanks buddy !!!!!!
ОтветитьIf you're not sure which you like, just choose electro-mechanical and suffer the horrors of both!
ОтветитьI always claimed I couldn’t do math and I was bad at it also that I was bad at everything.
ОтветитьI’d be awsome to take mechanical engineering to make a killer battle bot
Ответитьmecatronic engineering
ОтветитьI did electromechanical engineering.. a combination of both.
ОтветитьI love both EE and ME.I could do double major but in my country it is impossible and tuition fee is very high what should i do
ОтветитьI'm from an electrical degree, concentrating in "control system". we also studied mechanical physics and chemistry although it's limited, but we studied calculus most, that's basic mechanics and all engineering, right?
ОтветитьComing from physics major, i chose EE over ME cuz i had to take less courses and stat showed at the time that the entry level salay is a bit higher
ОтветитьWould u suggest double major, electrical and mechanical engineering. My Engineering manager was double major, electrical and mechanical engineering.
One of my colleagues was double major, chemical and mechanical engineering.
I got my EE degree 40 years ago. Back then, EE were required to take at least two ME classes: ME 101 and Thermodynamics. ME majors always hated EE majors taking their classes because 80% of the As in the class were usually cornered by the EE majors - especially those that were very strong in Math. I still remember when I walked out my finals on thermo, one guy was waiting outside of the classroom. He asked me how I did on the final and I said it wasn't that bad. He walked with me for two minutes chatting and then blatantly asked me if he could buy all my class notes, homework and exams for Thermo. Turned out he was a ME major and he was told that it was one of the hardest classes in ME major to get an A - all because those freaking EE majors were just so much stronger in Calculus.
ОтветитьShort answer none
ОтветитьRespect to electrical engineers, but it’s probably the hardest engineering discipline
ОтветитьMe who’s about to join senior year: it all sounds good but 🤷🏾
ОтветитьAs someone who is majoring in neither of these, cool video
ОтветитьWasn't Tesla both?
ОтветитьI finally have a good point of view on both majors, thanks for the explanation
ОтветитьAs a mechanical engineer, I suggest you do electrical engineering, the whole world is turning electrical.. Mechatronics seems to be the future.
Ответитьin Taiwan people worship EE CS because of the industry, but i chose ME anyway.
ОтветитьWhat if I want to build the arm and not have to figure out the force or read the electric signals. What major is that
ОтветитьI learn a lot from this video even tho I’m not going into either of them
ОтветитьI wanna become Iron man
ОтветитьThe american educational system is weird. Also - electrical engineers don't learn programming almost at all where I live.
Ответитьmechatronics
ОтветитьI’ve been subbed for a while but only ever saw the funny vids you make. These vids are very motivating for me as a college student. Ty
ОтветитьAwesome video, thank you!
ОтветитьThanks. Because of this video my life I about to have a firm stand
ОтветитьI got a question, in other countries we have Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering, Electrical Enginnering in US is both of them in one right? I couldnt find Electronics Engineering D:
ОтветитьElectrical engineers design the control system, mechanical engineers design the missiles, civil engineers design the targets..
ОтветитьVery helpful
Ответитьme 2021: join mechanics night school
me now: lets go electric engine falcultate
I am now more confused because I like quantum physics and I like how magical are electracy but I like how in Mechanical Engineer you convert oil to gas and how everything in a car works
ОтветитьLove your videos..doing My electrical and electronics degree...I did have 2 mechanical engineering courses 😁😁
Ответитьyou major civil and dont end it prematurely
Ответитьelectromechanical engineers watching this hehe
