Looking back, i dont think we filly appreciated just how good we had it. The Modern Warfare trilogy, World at War, and the 2 (AND ONLY 2) Black Ops games all right in a row in a 6 year period on the Xbox 360? Just perfection

My first COD experience was the COD 2 demo on the 360 in 2010/11 ish. I loved that demo so much, never played the full game lmao

I promise im not joking when i say this but I personally would put “Advanced Warfare” in SS tier. I choose Advanced Warfare as my all time favorite Call Of Duty game and I’m genuinely not interested in changing my mind. I think the combat is the best, the graphics are undeniably great, I enjoy the story and it pushed me into becoming a Call Of Duty fan. I know a lot of people hate it but I don’t. I love it more than enough to justify it as my favorite Call Of Duty game.

You forget that Ilona used to be spetsnaz during AW. Mostly because she doesn't really act like it

BO3 is the best CoD imo. I don’t care much about the campaign, but that definitely should bring it down on your list.
MP is awesome. I spent way too much time on it. And everyone knows how good the zombies is.

bo2 zombies was great wym it wasn't that good😭 tranzit was nowhere near the best zombies map, all the other ones(except die rise screw that map) were amazing. and idc ghosts is WAY too overhated

black ops 2 in A tier ? . am i high right now ? lol . that game probably had the dumbest AI i ever saw in a fps game . after the 1st mission that was quickly removed from my hard drive never to be seen again 😂

Honestly imo the true face of COD has always been BO1 and MW2. When those 2 games came out, just pure hype and because of how successful MW2 was, when BO1 was announced there was such an anticipation for that game. Nowadays anyone including kids could pick up a COD, but back then, MW2/BO1 is what the you would play if you were cool.

I stopped following the yearly train of CoD with Ghosts, that was the turning point for me.

I still have MW (2007), WaW, and MW2 (2009) installed on my PCs (and I might rebuy BlOps). Otherwise, the series does not offer what I want nowadays.

Man I can’t agree with Cold War and modern warfare 2019. I just played modern warfare 2019 a few days ago for the first time, and the gameplay was good but the story was…generic to me. It felt too held back with trying to deliver fan service for me. Only characters I can remember is the returning and Alex really, I can even remember that girl you had that Alex went with or the main bad guy in the game. Story was meh, serviceable but not anything mind blowing.

Cold War tho….oh man…loved that one and for the longest time it was the only game I beat on my Xbox. I bought it so I could see it in 4k with ray-tracing. Zombies was great too gameplay wise, map wise the only map I really loved was die maschine. Such a great map

Dont get me wrong. Games should be playable at release. But bring down cold war because of the release. I think is a little unfair because of the HELL they went through to make the game during a pandemic. No one had any idea on how to manage making a game during a pandemic. So in my opinion. I would cut them some slack unlike other games in this franchise that had unplayable releases. But i dont know what im talking about seeing how i did not play the game at release

I’ve never played a cod campaign and I really want to get into them. I need some guidance. Which ones are absolutely necessary to play which ones should I skip. What order should I play them in etc.

You have to play big red one it was awesome it was my first call of fun game I had no idea it even was call of duty when I played it it’s so fun

Halo 3/Reach/ODST(firefight) MW MW2 BO1 BF3 BF4 Destiny 1 and GEARS 123 were the pinnacle of online gaming, nothing, and I mean NOTHING has come even close to within the orbit of these online experiences in recent years, MAYBE OVERWATCH 1 and Titanfall, but thats still years ago, NOTHING is as interesting nor exciting.

BO2 is no 1, but I understand that zombies was too much, but treyarch makes way better and more impactful campaigns than IW, and MW1 2007 is after BO2, then mw2 2009, then BO, WaW, and MW3. WaW is probably one of the best COD games ever, and the most realistic game to ever exist. BUT BO2 IS NOT A TIER IT IS SS TIER

mw3 is one of my favorite cods of all time, it was so good, the multiplayer was chefs kiss, mwuaaaa, i used to be a fiend for drop zone, drop zone w my boys back in the day we would all be on the top of the leader board, i miss that game so much, and black ops 2 is the peak of call of duty. zombies, chefs kiss, multiplayer, chefs kiss, mw3 and bo2 are interchangeable for me tbh, those were the peak of call of duty
