For those, who aren't speedrunning, but still are interested in ichor darts: crimson and corruption mimickcs drop hardmode versions of blowpipe, which have a significant fire rate/damage improvement.
By the way, if you have corruption – cursed flame darts are very good too. Especially against the destroyer. Just shoot them along his body or vertically in the sky and enjoy the rain of cursed flames.

Then was shocked they died after 1 minute
