Since e beginning Gon has been unhinged he literally had no Qualms about killing even before he had nen I.E when he watched Killua Rip a man's heart out and the other 2 older and more logical people where taken aback that a child did this to a grown man Gon was like good job buddy 😂

Gon never changed. He was always like that, he just let it show. This is the same guy who literally watched people get murdered with a smile on his face. He’s nice to innocent people. But anyone who goes against him he shows no mercy. Pitou just pushed up far enough to where he didn’t care anymore to hide it

Na I don’t think he was ever a normal shonen protagonist he was more like a blank canvas absorbing everything around him almost like a wild animal

Gon is NOT the typical Shonen Mc, especially since HXH is older than most stereotypical shonen in the first place, but also because he’s a kid with Sociopathic tendencies. He sees people die and isn’t shocked, he is comparable in stamina to killua, a child bred to kill and he grew up in a relatively peaceful place where he practised hunting animals. There was always something off about Gon, he isn’t a good guy, he’s a twisted version of Luffy. Uncaring and only involved if his friends get hurt but also makes friends easily, but if you mess with his friends he doesn’t just beat the shit out of you, he kills you, no questions asked, and he will maliciously do it too.
