Just to be clear I love Dying Light 2 just like the first one but god they could've spent just a little more time with the AI, it's just like ubisoft level of AI

I can’t count how many times in DL 1 where survivors just went straight back to throwing hands.

They do the same thing in DL1 tho. Those ive saved literally run around and look for the next fight, often end up getting killed

Dying Light 1 really capture the feels of impact whenever you attack/parkour, or anything happening in the game for that matter regardless of how absurdly light the body sometime can be.
Dying light 2 feels like you're on a the moon, people are awfully willing to give their life to fight a horde of zombies that can be avoided easily.

Still in dying light 1 there were times where u save someone and he starts looking for another fight 😂😂 so it is 1-1 for dying light 😂

Its exactly how it works in DL1 too, you just caught worst AI moment from DL2 and best from DL1

Usually in DL1 after I help them dudes they ran to closest infected and If I kill this one they will still engaged into a fight.

The fact that they added MORE human combat instead of just scrapping it all together and making the Infected combat more interesting to fight just blows my mind.

I don’t think I’ve loved a game more for all it’s mechanics, but hated a specific mechanic so much it ruins most of the game more, other than fighting other humans in Dying Light.

They do do that in the first game as well, and when they fight demolishers all I can really bother doing is like "really?" And fucking ignore them until the demolisher starts bullying me as I'm trying to lockpick a police van after killing them, so i just fight it for 15 minutes and finally get enough peace to lockpick a police van and get some shitty melee weapon that does nothing for me.

I played this and I saved this one guy on dying light and after I saved him he started attacking me saying I was one of breckhams people and threw a axe at me

The guy in dying light 2 is like: oh, i almost got killed by those people trying to fight them

Uhh never seen rescued npcs doing that in DL1 and they keep roaming around looking for another fight and get themselves killed lol

The A.I in Dying Light 2 is beyond amateur level if I'm being honest. I was fighting Biters, Renegades and a Banshee all at the same time because they hardly payed attention to each other. You can sometimes literally see Biters chilling within 2 meters of Renegades, Bandits, PK's or friendly NPC's as if nothing is wrong. But as soon as Aiden comes around a corner all these enemies start feeling a disturbance in the force.

Dying Light 2 might be fun but from a technical point of a view it's a very poorly designed game. At least for a game released in 2022.

i always knew dying light is fantastically amazing for a zombie game and years later i'm glad it's getting the recognition is deserves. I don't know why game developers didn't communication with their community when making dying light 2. Dying light 2 Map just feels bad.

To say, Dying Light 2 still is in developement, so bugs or things that are unrealistic are normal.

Throw a propane tank at a zombie in the first game they ragdoll and act funny. Do the same thing in the second game and feel nothing but disapointment

6/10 dudes who i save just stutter in one place shaking and screaming like they are taking damage while they are safe and no one is doing harm to them. So I found a way to unstuck them - kick em with E to a different location and then they unstuck

DL 1 has more active players than its successor. 🤣

the UI was better , the gameplay was good , the immersion was better . it has more zombies overall . etc... and the end game content like the harran prison were league above the boring chapter 1 and 2 missions .

both game stories are not good , only the following DLC has good one , tho i like characters in DL1 more and few side mission in DL1 was actually good . the one where you fight a serial killer is seriously really good . the mission variety in DL1 was much better too . and the map in DL1 felt more unique .

Who actually cares about tiny details like this, not going to change the way the game plays out overall is it?

1 year later and the bugs from day 1 are still here making my experience pain I try to power through them but it's so difficult when where ever u go there's another bug

People seem to forget DL1 has years and years to get as good as it did post release. While DL2 is only 1 year old.
