Syncing photos doesn't work at all over wireless. The iPhone shows up in the finder, and I can take photos and wait forever, manually sync several times, nothing will work to get the new photos over, other than plugging the iPhone in USB. Mac Pro 2000-2012 (cheese grater) is awesome with Catalina, but you need OpenCore. Bugs: Apple iSight mic is dead. MagicMouse and wireless keyboards won't rename, but a work-around has been recently found.

My old music interface M Box 2 Pro will not run on Catalina on my late 2015 iMac 27”. It runs well on my 2010 MacBook Pro 2010. Would you suggest I downgrade my iMac to HighSierra? My Macbook has HighSierra installed. My M-Box has firewire 400 so I needed to use a firewire to thunderbolt 2 to connect to the iMac. Any other ideas?

Hey; thanks for the video. Question; I'm new to Mac and know nothing. I'm using macOS Catalina. Everybody talks about syncing your device (in my case iPhone) to the Mac. But I want to import everything on my iPhone to my Mac. I've backed the data up but don't see it anywhere on my Mac. E.g. Where are my iPhone apps etc?

I don't want to press the sync button because there is nothing on my Mac at the moment and I don't want it syncing what's on the Mac (which is nothing at the moment - New Mac) and wiping everything off my iPhone. Where's my mistake here? If I sync, will it import everything from my iPhone to the Mac (as I am wanting to do) or will it wipe my iPhone because there is nothing yet on the Mac to sync with the iPhone?

In iTunes (on my old PC) I could select import from iPhone and it was one directional. Meaning it only moved things from my iPhone to iTunes. Can you still do this function on macOS Catalina?

Reminders is one of my favourite things about Catalina. I just started using it to replace Wunderlist which Microsoft is axing (bastards). Reminders is almost as good as Wunderlist. Almost.

I HATE CATALINA!! It’s taken away from reading my playlists on the Music app. I can’t imagine why this was done by Apple, but it’s infuriating.
