I love cats so very deeply. It breaks my heart to see them deceased but it's an action that needs taking to keep all our other lovely critters alive and thriving.

Behind every comment saying "YOU'RE EVIL AHHHH!" is just ultimately just a person wanting to support wild animal life just like yourself. Only difference is they're yet to understand the difficult reality that to keep our ecosystem from being destroyed any more than it already has, this needs to be done.

It's sad yes but it'd be a lot sadder if everyone just casually let these cute buggers continue to destroy our ecosystem because many of us have or have once had a cat as a domestic pet/companion.

I don't understand how in the US feral cats are looked at as an animal to protect when it's clear that based on the Australian experience, the US is headed in the same direction. In urban environments, all four-legged animals of equivalent size are seen as a nuisance with the exception of feral cats. Possums and racoons get re-homed and foxes and coyotes are shot, but for cats there's this Herculean effort to assure no harm comes to them in the form of spading as if the effort does anything to reduce populations of feral cats. Add to that the population of outdoor pet cats and it's a recipe for a future full of cat issues. They're invasive, but as long as there are unreasonable and irresponsible cat owners, there's no way to avoid the issue. It's just a matter of time.

i understand why you guys do this and that you have to to save the native wildlife but the fact that people are getting pleasure out of it and it's becoming a sport makes me loath you hunters and far right bastards. we caused this problem, it's not the cats fault, and many of these cats you killed were kittens at adoption age who could have become loving family pets. and you all in the comments laugh and gawk with 0 respect to the animals we put into this satiation.

Thank you for being brave enough to put this out there. Most sane humans see what you are doing is saving thousands of native animals that cannot defend for themselves but we all know there are a few with their heads in the sand who do not see it.

I like cats but like here on hawaii cats do kill natvie animals. We domt have many cull measures other that people whoev taken it into thjer owm hands which sadly leads to the killing of many pets. But thats on the state for not stepping in and properly regulations. We dont let pur cats live outside, responsible cat ownwrs shouldnt if you live in places like this. Cant handle that dont get a cat, goldfish are 2$ have at it.

Hi, just found your channel, interesting. I have a question, plenty of channels with eradication of feral critters, mostly pigs. What happens to the carcass? Is it left for the birds and ants or do persons like yourself need to produce a carcass to collect a bounty?

They’re a big problem here in the states, too. I’ve had to dispatch 22 of them in my yard in rural Kentucky in the past five years. I don’t hate cats, but good god, they kill everything despite how well fed they already are. Keep up the good work.

while it's right to kill the cats, you're not saving australian wildlife. there's too many ferals you can't kill them all. you'd need to mobilize all of australia to hunt and kill the cats to save australia ecosystem this way.

has australia come up with more effective efficient ways of removing feral cats? i enjoy this content but it seems near impossible get rid of them all...
