Colin is a monster on this. The rhythm section of this band does not get enough credit. The others can play off them because they are so solid, and here, also incredibly improvisational.

Hablando desde la ignorancia, me atrevo a decir que Radiohead es la mejor banda en la historia de la humanidad. Cualquier otra banda apenas se acerca. Complejo, abstracto, estetico. Hay mejores letristas,y quizás mejores guitarristas, pero en conjunto solo Radiohead es capaz de explotar el potencial de cada uno de los integrantes y llevarlos al nivel más alto.

To me this song sounds like the “ rift” between God and mankind and a apocalyptic reset. I mean really look at the lyrics .. dinosaurs roaming the earth and the green sky that is thought to happen before a asteroid impact, which is foreshadowing another destruction that is to come. X will mark the place like the parting of the waves ( which is a illusion to the story in the Bible of the Red Sea parting). I am up in the clouds .. I can watch but not take part (humankind’s free will not controlled by God). This is way deeper than a breakup song.

this, like so many of Radiohead's songs, takes the breath right out of my chest. they have a way of thrilling and intoxicating while also providing a very safe, controlled place, and i love the balance they create.

It’s such a fucking good song. I often wonder whether it’s from one point of view of a breakup or about abolishing the government.

Thom and Phil are completely in sync, it’s otherworldly. Radiohead, imo, are one of the best representations of fucking insane musicians just finding each other
