I just left my psu job 2 years back and puchased a small 2 acre agricultural plot near my hone. I am doing a little work in pollutry and fishery. Though the income is less, but i am kind of happy now. There are lots of chores in a farm, i enjoy doing them. I have planted some 22 fruit plants, i enjoy watching them grow, i enjoy feeding my fishes in the pond and watching them fishes by standing still. I enjoy feeding my roosters and four goats and watching them run and jump bonkers in fun. I enjoy the company of my three featherbrained dogs who always create new tasks for me by chewing pipes, running among the vegetable beds. I enjoy watching my chickengrow in the sheds, and take care that they do not face any problem and stress.
Though sometimes financial matters come to my mind and i think about my 2 year old baby(may be he will blame me for not getting him a new bike or something else because of financial restrictions), as my income has been kind of halved but still i will always prefer this life over my past life.

May god preserve these people and the place forever...

Actually God Almighty created us on this beautiful earth - to cultivate n take care of it. “Jehovah God took the man and settled him in the garden of Eden to cultivate it and take care of it.”(Gen.2:15). But what a tragedy - the whole world is heading the wrong way. Good news is - very soon God will rectify it.

To help with water, just couple of methods to re remind again, obviously using drip feed system uses less water but with better yields in crops, but, to conserve and collect water, use the centuries old method of building "JOHADS" research into it, it's a life saver !!
Also to find water tables under your land use the " diving / dowsing " method too, cheapest, quickest, best old methods !!

By the way, to also help along on the side with the
" ELECTROCULTURE " method, there are many other ways to help the crops, nature and eco system, i will list them, BUT, PLEASE, look into each one thoroughly and deeply as it warrants this research for your own knowledge to help you then implement understandingly?
Ok, alternativel methods are, Permaculture, no till methods, compost teas, use of volcanic ash, use of burnt wood ashes ( these are mostly made up of minerals which don't burn ), drip feed water, use Comfrey plant turned into compost giving you giant plants, use cocnut fibres for mulching, i saw you do use mulching, good ! Use wormy casting, chicken poop in composts too, let goats eat and clear greenery where needed, use ages old method diving / dowsing to find water table under your land to bore well etc etc !!
