@kyle and April that’s me Caleb thanks for having us in the video that was great can you shout me out. Love you guys!
ОтветитьYellow all the way. Would be fun to take it out looking for spots. Thanks for the review!
ОтветитьThanks for this great presentation 👏👏. You're right it's pricey, but so is everything with mtbs 😅
ОтветитьIt's currently June 2023 and I just got my 2021-2022 Hopper Intro (the green one). The design is a few years old now and they've discontinued this model (they replaced it with a more updated version), so I got it for only $149. Hoping it to it out this weekend.
ОтветитьDid you ever try byclex ramps? Maybe a bit expensive in the US but in Europe they seem to be a lot more affordable then MTB Hopper.
ОтветитьI have the Lite (the yellow one) and you described perfectly that it can be sketchy. It looks deceptively small but you can't roll it even at the lowest setting.
ОтветитьHay Kyle and April I was wondering if u can link the ninja coach, MTB ramp? Thank u ❤
ОтветитьThe kids could benefit from a little seat drop on the jumps, especially when one with the shades. Looked like the seat kissed him on the last jump. But they did good!
ОтветитьWatching these kids "deathgrip" gave me the chills...
ОтветитьWomen.☕️
ОтветитьThese are wayyy too expensive for what they are. Unless you can tell me the material is from another planet I'm not buying it.
ОтветитьI just don’t understand why someone wouldn’t build their own for these prices…
ОтветитьThose prices are absurd!
ОтветитьGreat info!!
ОтветитьThe ramps are really cool, but for now the price is to high for me. I will keep stacking wood and deal with the consequences.
ОтветитьI would love to see a video on how to build a ramp.
Ответитьmate why are this ramps so expensive
ОтветитьJust bought the coach after watching this video!! Bought the extender as well. Looking forward to giving these a go
ОтветитьCould you put the green or blue one (maybe in that second mode?) on a downward slope to use for practicing small drops?
ОтветитьIs this at eagle bike park, I live close and go here all the time
Dam $250? Hell no. OMG, this is garbage. I'm not investing in ramps. That is ridiculous.
ОтветитьYIKES! $575!!! Does it have gold or silver platting? WTF Over!? I have enough scrap lumber in my garage to build 3 or 4 very stable ramps for nothing but a few hours of time. Spend that $$$$ on bike upgrades. What a useless product - especially for that price.
ОтветитьWould love a home made ramp build!
ОтветитьI was going to build a ramp for myself because I fear jumps on the trail. I told my son what I wanted to do and he said he thought that wasn't a good idea. Maybe because We used to ride motocross and he seen me crash a few times being 57.
ОтветитьExcellent job..... like always👌
Thank U
I've been working on jumping better for years now and in my opinion your channel has the best video on the topic (the 3 different ways to jump one).
As part of my learning journey I purchased a portable jump, the jumpack. Using it regularly and reviewing footage showed I was definitely improving but there were 2 downsides.
Firstly - it didn't translate very well when applied to actual mtb jumps, which I suspect was due to the size and shape difference between the different types of jumps you encounter whilst on the track, versus the largely consistent/static practice jump.
Secondly - I couldn't find any usable footage of someone hitting my practice ramp really well, which made it really hard to see where I should be making changes.
If you made a video breaking down how to jump WELL off those different ramps (noting their different sizes and shapes) it would not only make my day, I think it could really help people 😊
Jigsaw jumps! Made in Australia 🇦🇺
ОтветитьKyle calling you out! "people spending thousands on suspensions and wheelsets, but not on skills building"!
I'm a HUGE believer in training too!
👍
I bought the MTB Hopper pro at the beginning of COVID and a few of the land wave ramps (for a lander) - very nice setup. The MTB ramps are really sturdy, well designed, and I think worth the price. Great learning tool for me. You can always resell them after a season or two to minimize the cost. I'd err on getting the bigger ramps as you can start out on lower settings and work your way up (and you will most likely work your way up) to the bigger settings. I also did a Ninja class in Brevard, NC a few years ago and thought it was great - really helped my cornering.
ОтветитьNice comparison btw the different ramps! I built a DIY adjustable ramp but it's definitely not as portable as one of these. Definitely something to consider if I have some extra $$ and want something more portable! The kids were sooo cool!
ОтветитьHave you recovered yet?
ОтветитьLooks like some coaching occured off video. Good job.
ОтветитьGreat review. Thanks 🤙
ОтветитьHey Kyle and April. T hanks for all the great videos! This one was cool and helpful. I would definitely be interested in seeing one on how to build ramps too. Your video on building a manual machine was great.
ОтветитьAfter reading more of the comments, it appears many of you weren't allowed access to nails as kids. :-) We built our own ramps from 2x6s nailed to 2x4s. Not very loft-inducing, but they didn't fall apart, either. Except that one time...
Ответитьits rediquesly expensive and unpractical
ОтветитьLove your videos.. would love your thoughts and tips on properly using dropper post. Awesome feature on newer bikes but always wondering if I’m making the most of it especially on trails that change profile quickly
ОтветитьI would definitely like to see a video on how to build your own home made ramp. I love the concept of these hopper ramps but it just seems too much for something that I could build similar at home for way less money. Great video as always guys!
Ответитьgreat reviews
Ответитьvery cool demo! you guys are great, so thanks! btw - the Napolean Dynamite snippit just cracks me up!
ОтветитьI would love a "how to" video for making ramps, I try to DIY whenever possible. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьNeed video : how to make a ramp
ОтветитьI still struggle on everything that looks like it might have consequences. I‘d ride a table top much bigger that these ramps but the possibility of dropping the front wheel and hooking in with the chainring makes my mind freak out. Can you make a video about how to overcome such blockages?
ОтветитьLove my MtbHopper. I can take it to park hills and have tons of fun. My family found them via Sam Pilgrim's channel.
ОтветитьDo you think a kids 24”,26” or 27.5” tire bikes can roll over the green ramp with out catching the crank? I like how small the ramps get, especially compared with land wave and other plastic ramps don’t fold away when done.
ОтветитьThat was perfect timing. You guys are the best sharing like that and just being all around great people. Those kids will be talking about this for a long time. 👍🏼
ОтветитьI recently got back into MTB and your channel is amazing and helping me get back on the trail! Thanks Kyle and April!!
