Israelis: What do you think of converts to Judaism?

It's interesting, somewhere I read that since Jews are the descendants of Jacob - a convert is a spiritual descendant of Jacob.

It's never too late to believe there's always time for change for the better and for yourself, and that goes with what you choose to believe.

All of these people are converts. The Bible took place in Africa. How the original Hebrew Israelites became Europeans that speak Yiddish without conversion is laughable. Moses was raised in Africa and his first wife Zipporah was an Ethiopian Cushite. The Cushites are descendants of Cush, Noah's Grandson. The only place on earth where Cushitic languages are spoken is in Ethiopia, Eritrea, Sudan and Somalia.

With the various pogroms occurring across Europe in the Middle Ages, it would be increasingly difficult to breed within your race. Gentiles probably have as much “jewish” blood in them due to coerced conversion during times of persecution

Once a person converts they're 100% Jewish. Their soul is cleansed and they are Jewish. The only issue I can see someone having with their child marrying a convert is that the convert's family isn't Jewish and it would be assumed that the convert will still have a close relationship w/ their family and then their grandchildren would have non Jewish family. I can say this b/c my mother converted and while we're Orthodox and follow all the laws, I grew up seeing my mother's side of the family. They're always very respectful of our religion and I love my non Jewish family just as much as I love my Jewish family. They love me and don't see me as any different. But my dad's side of the family is very accepting, but if my dad came from an ultra Orthodox (not Modern Orthodox) I could sort of understand why they might have some hesitation.

If a Palestinian refugee truthfully and genuinely decided to convert to Judaism can he do alyia and move to Israel and have a citizenship? Would you be okay with that?

Such welcoming people. Never seen such open-minded, accepting, diplomatic people (even between differing denominations) in any country, and I live in Canada, a country that everyone carries a misconception about that we are all the most polite. Does that second guy realize that jews sin just like non jews. They even have cults where they are abusing children. This warmed my heart as a conversion student. Im often nervous meeting new people to tell them im a convert but ao far ive always been received warmly. Still i worry that people might be putting on a front and not see my education & conversion process as legitimate
