Ответитьit can be even easier. I just knead with my hands (feel the right consistency), don't even use eggs or measure anything, and use a handheld device that "grates" the pasta (spaghetti) straight into the water. turned out great every time.

ОтветитьSo I followed all the directions. Got all the different flours and starches, measured them out on a digital scale. I wasn't sure about the 8 ounces of eggs, so I went by weight. If it was supposed to be fluid ounces, that might be the problem. The recipe called for a tablespoon of salt, which seemed excessive and more that the "couple of big old pinches" you refer to in the video, but I put it in. Anyhow, the result was a complete fiasco. It was just like the other examples you demonstrated, couldn't go through the rollers without crumbling to pieces. So add a little water, I thought. This made the dough more pliable, but it still wouldn't survive going through the rollers. Finally I rolled it out as flat as I could on the table, cut it with a pizza cutter and cooked it. It was of course too thick and had a granular mouth feel. Not pleasant. Any ideas where I went wrong?

Really people think that our gf diet is a game or a joke... last time i visit some friends (they invited us to dinner with them) they put a whole plate with wheat buns on it and they had tortillas made of wheat and was almost all they had to offer me... it hurts and because of that i was with swollen tummy for 3 entire days and diarrhea... seriously sucks when people don't care or respect our health. Btw thank u for u effort to share us this recipe, i will try to do it.

We used all Red Bob’s for every ingredient and used a Phillips Pasta Maker to mix and extrude it.

ОтветитьLol, what took me two years of cooking and baking Babish does in one episode. Literally use the same recipe for my Fiance's GF pastas. Although for her mac'n'cheese I make penne and use a touch of arrowroot starch to give it a springy texture.
