The FNAF Fan Game That Broke Me…

Sorry for such a huge gap between videos, probably wasn't a good idea to start this project right before my wisdom teeth surgery...

A perfect example of why hiring playtesters is important. When you work on a game or project in a game for too long, you become so used to the mechanics that it’s very easy for you to win. What you end up lacking is the perspective of someone new to the game, who has to learn the mechanics and has had no time to practice. So, your game ends up being too difficult, and very unbalanced in most areas

Minater freddy in night 1 can actually become blue if you are very slow to get to the cleaning and sanitation area, that’s what “looks like a completely different character” means like

Actually there are three stages for minater freddy one is when you arrive the fastest is his normal form the second form is when you arrive slow he has a bunny ear now but hes not bonnie yet third stage is when your fu***d bcs minater freddy is revenant bonnie the pattern of the questions is yes yes yes yes really fast its in the cleaning n sanitary

Playing this game makes the option of being in a spring-lock suit so much more tantalizing

The old version DOES in fact give tutorials for every animatronic, BUT they are for some unknown reason scattered in pieces across the map and tablet screens. so to know what revenant Freddy does you would have to first go to where he first appears and read the passage, THEN go to where you throw the drone and read that passage THEN go into the tablet and find the drone page, then read that passage. and boom now you know how ONE ANIMATRONIC works. Not to mention how pieces of other animatronics tutorials are scattered in with revenant Freddy's tutorial.

Helpful Tip: If Minater Freddy appears in the vent, he has one of three forms.
If you arrive as fast as possible, he looks normal (and requires the answers “no, yes, no, yes” in that order) and unchanged.
If you are a bit slow at arriving, he will have a rabbit ear (requires “yes, yes, no, yes” in that order).
If you end up arriving extremely slow, he becomes Revenant Bonnie (all “yes”).

I definitely won’t be touching this game

Honestly this game seems so good, but the major flaw is the creator has too many ideas they wanted to throw into one game. I feel like if they split all of the animatronics and ideas into small extra modes or separate games, the game would become far easier for people to play without needing a notebook on how things function. For an example, maybe only have one-two animatronics on night one in the normal game, and then add an extra mode that adds the other characters and mechanics for people who want a more intensive experience right off the bat, and of course have the option available for every night.

I hope this person did learn from the flaws and critique the game had and continued creating, because genuinely, this has so much potential, and the designs and mechanics could actually be so cool to see in more easily playable games.

Sometimes I look at hard FNaF games or fangames, and wonder how the hell does the protagonist canonically managed to survive

To be fair this game is the only game that actually wasnt a skill based but a rng based one.

Skill issue.

Tip: minater Freddy’s questions relate to what stage you see him in the vent (normal Freddy=stage one, bunny ear Freddy=stage two, Bonnie looking Freddy=stage three) so when it ask you if it looks like a different character, it means “is he blue or not”

Idea : if somebody commited a crime, instead of sending them to prison, force them to get all the endings in this fangame

Honestly I love the animations in this game

This fan game literally wont tell you 50% of the entire purpose of the game 💀

Insane mechanics and overwhelming workload aside, it’s really cool that this game exists. Like it could have ended up like TRTF 4 and stayed an ambitious demo forever, but the dev actually finished an entire game with original models and environments and published it. Yeah he probably should have had some more play testers try it out before calling it good, but it’s just really cool that he was able to make something like this mostly on his own.
